Best experience at a Dealer I purchased a Jeep GC Laredo at a local dealer specializing in Jeeps several years ago. Thinking I would get a good deal I visited them this past Sat I purchased a Jeep GC Laredo at a local dealer specializing in Jeeps several years ago. Thinking I would get a good deal I visited them this past Saturday. We looked at at Heep that was kind of what I wanted, I told him the price I was trying to get at and he came back with a quote $170 over the monthly range I requested. He didn't budge on price, so I thanked him for his time and left. That night I saw Sam Swope advertised the same year/make/model vehicle with more options. That next day, a Sunday, I called the dealership and had an appointment with Damon in less than 45 minutes. By the time I arrived he had the Jeep through the car wash and ready to drive. Damon was a nice guy. We test drive on I-64, Gene Snyder, and residential areas - about 20-30 minutes. During that time I told him what I was looking for and what I could pay. When we got back, he quoted me a price that was close. We spoke a little more, I told him my bottom dollar, and he made it happen. In fact, after the financing he got my monthly payment $10 less than we agreed on. The whole process was comfortable, without pressure, and at no time did they make me feel like I my budgetary limits were beneath them. When everything was done, they topped me off with gas and I was on my way. When I got home, I crunched the numbers between what I would have paid at the first dealer and what I agreed to pay at Sam Swope with Damon: for the same Year/make/model, with MORE options, comparable mileage, and in better shape cosmetically (interior/exterior), I drove off the lot at Sam Swope saving over $5,000 than had I went with the first dealer. Lesson learned: next time I'm in the market, I'll go see Damon first. More
Car Care Package purchased I leased a 2012 Honda Accord from 2012-2015 and purchased the car care package (additional $15.00 per month) but never used it. My error yes, but I a I leased a 2012 Honda Accord from 2012-2015 and purchased the car care package (additional $15.00 per month) but never used it. My error yes, but I also had the VIP booklet which I thought was the car care package that I was paying for. As a first time customer as Sam Swope and a first time leased vehicle I just assumed the VIP booklet and coupons was what I was paying for and used those coupons through out the three year term. Only to find out, that I had never used my free services within the three years. My suggestion to your company is if they are going to push this additional package on the customers they should ask if they have the coverage before writing up a ticket and taking their money at the service counter. I would think this would be "Good Business" with your customers. Of course I am upset that I have three years of coupons for free services and over $400 invested in something that does not transfer to your next lease. That in and of itself it ridiculous since I paid it for it. Is there something that can be done about that? Thank you, Anita Stephens More

I was third in line to have an alignment. They could have at least come and told me after 2 1/2 hours that I was looking at more like a 3 1/2 to 4 hour time. I have had my car for three and half years and always had it serviced at Honda. After this experience, I'll likely find somewhere else to start having my car serviced. More

I cannot say enough about how helpful this dealership was in my purchase of a new vehicle. In particular I want to give my appreciation and thanks to Doug Alsman. Each and every question I had was answered by Doug in not only a knowledgable manner, but also with such friendliness & honesty. One truly can't go wrong with Sam Swope Honda World and Doug Alsman. Wonderful experience with Ryan Anderson My wife and I moved to Louisville a handful of years ago after serving our country in DC. Since that time, I have bought two cars from Ryan (one was a My wife and I moved to Louisville a handful of years ago after serving our country in DC. Since that time, I have bought two cars from Ryan (one was a Honda, the other was a BMW). Now that I work in the retail industry for one of the largest corporations in the U.S., I see the immense professionalism and social skills Ryan has been blessed with. He is unassuming. He is kind. He is willing to bend over backwards for you. Furthermore, he is a man of integrity and truth. I did not know who Ryan was until I met him at the dealership. This was in God's providence. Within short time, we both realized our common faith--faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. That is not to say that he would have treated me differently if I had not been a fellow brother in Christ. In fact, I have heard from several other people (non-Christians) that they have had the same shopping experience with Ryan. Let me give you some examples of what I experienced with Ryan: I tend to be a perfectionist in all things (I blame the military for this). Though I took a long time looking over the vehicles and asking him a million questions, he remained patient with me through the end. Another example, before I bought the BMW, I was about to buy a 2012 Honda Accord. The reason I went with the BMW is because Ryan found a defect with the car seconds before I signed all the paperwork. This was something nobody had known about. Ryan could have easily just let me buy the car to "close the sale" but he did not. He let me know right away and I walked away. Because of this, I trusted him even more and shortly afterwards bought my dream car through him (a BMW, of course). As long as he works for Sam Swope, I will not go through any other salesman. Ryan will always be my go-to guy. As a side note, I have seen some of the other salesmen that work at the dealership and I can honestly say that they should probably learn a thing or two from Ryan (I do not mean this disrespectfully but rather to help your business). Specifically, they should be more adept at being cognizant of their surroundings and not just sit at a desk and wait for the "next sale" to come through the door. Ryan intentionally goes against the stereotypical salesman persona by being personable, sharp, and caring about his customers--not just out to get a sale. More
