Rock Star Treatment for this ol' country boy Here is the difference, most dealers try so hard to get the sell (that’s their job) they great you with “Let me show you this”, “You need this” or “Wh Here is the difference, most dealers try so hard to get the sell (that’s their job) they great you with “Let me show you this”, “You need this” or “What payment you looking for?” When I talked to Chris Petty, he said “How can I help you?” and “What can I do for you?” You see the difference? Chris started out putting “you” first. The whole dealership is that way! Truth is, there are as many car dealers as fast food places, selling every make, model, color and year with options I didn't even know existed. The folks at Honda of Cleveland know that and you feel it the moment you arrive at the lot. The whole business seems to be based on trust, no pressure, and customer service. In fact, we looked over some Civics, found one we liked, drove it, told Chris and he did the rest. I got a cup of coffee propped my feet up and relaxed while Chris and others would occasionally walk by to fill me in on the status. I would just smile and get back to watching the game on TV. I felt like a rock star or something. I was somebody! To top off everything else I walked back to re-fill my coffee cup and there was a lady in the service department, getting the same “Rock Star” treatment. I just smiled and went back to relaxing.
