We did our homework, got a great trade-in for our new 2013 CR-V. Double-teamed by Tom Teiro and Mike Maman, both of which did an excellent job in presentation and running-the-numbers. The only problem we had was the door locks on the drivers door did not work when we purchased the car so having to make a return trip to get fixed. I was very pleased with the level of personal service I received from Joy Spencer. I just happened to have the morning off but needed to get to work by 1:00 and was concerned that the process was going to take a long time, but Ted assured me that he would get everything done so that I could make it to work on time, and I did...with a brand new 2013 Honda Civic. It's exactly the car I wanted in the color I wanted. Everything went like clockwork--initial examination of the car, the test drive, the paperwork (including getting a quick response on my credit score--which was over 800, by the way), and the financial negotiation. We came to an acceptable agreement, an extremely fair one I would say, and I feel that I was treated intelligently and respectfully--not always the case when you're a female shopper. Ted was friendly, personable, and explained everything in detail. I recommend him highly. Drew's input was also very helpful. Even after I noticed a stain in the backseat after I got home, Phil, who happens to live nearby, stopped in and was able to clean it so that it's no longer noticeable. There was one glitch (wrong VIN number on the paperwork), but it was caught at the dealership and again Phil was the one to come to my home with the new paperwork for me to sign. These minor incidents do not in any way deter from the outstanding treatment I received at Honda of Concord. It was worth the trip, even though I could have gone to a dealership closer to home. More
