I do not often buy or trade cars. The one I was previously driving is 13 years old with over 270,000 miles on it. Having decided a new one was a must, I began researching, talking to The one I was previously driving is 13 years old with over 270,000 miles on it. Having decided a new one was a must, I began researching, talking to others, reading internet reviews and comparing makes and models. Upon examining a cousin's vehicle, I settled upon a Honda Passport. That is where the miracle began. He was also able to recommend a dealership and an agent, Robin Owens at Honda of Concord, NC, a Hendricks dealership. I have never met such a motivated, inspired, bundle of energy in my life! She was immediately on the hunt for a certified used car for me. The first one she located would have been ideal, but the payments were a little more than what I could comfortably afforded. Within less than 24 hours, she was calling to tell me she had my perfect car, a 2021 Passport Touring, locally owned and serviced, one owner (a lease) with just over 35,000 miles in my preferred color. The price was within my budget and the car is the one I had dreamed of owning!! We signed papers yesterday and picked the car up. The entire process was so smooth and easy. A lot was done with Robin online, but what had to be done in person was handled promptly and efficiently by Nick Caldwell at the dealership. What a beautifully simple, pleasant interaction we had with both these sterling individuals! It was truly a hassle-free process in every way. The car itself is absolutely perfect. It has every single bell and whistle I could ever have desired plus some I had no idea of needing or wanting. At the same time, it was very easy to understand and become accustomed to the features it offers. On our way home, we encountered heavy, heavy rain, the kind that ponds on the road and causes cars to hydroplane. The Passport handled it like a champ. It stuck to the road even in the poorest conditions, making me feel very safe to be in it. We experienced heavy rain, fog, mist and steady downpours in our slightly over 4 hour trip home, but never at any time did I feel threatened or uneasy in this vehicle. I do not know how many times I told my husband that , "I love this car!". I can unequivocably state that I am a convert. If and when the time comes to purchase another vehicle, it will be a Honda and it will be from Honda of Concord....preferably from Robin and Nick!! My apologies for the long endorsement, but I felt it HAD to be said. More
