Not really a whole lot you could do. I appreciate the effort but someone tried contacted me and left a message. Supposedly the technician recommended the brake fluid service because Hyundai recommends it every 50k miles. I looked everywhere for this information and could not locate what he had stated. I haven’t been home to look at the service manual yet and the one I was able to find online did not say 50k. The car is not even close to 100k. The salesperson was great and the service was great before this experience. I feel like the best thing would have been to inform her to pass along the recommended service to us rather than to make her feel pressured into making a decision. Now I do not believe they were very pressing about it but it could have gone a different way. The response I got from the guy afterwards about the 50k brake fluid service and I could not locate this information has made lose my trust and confidence in the service department. Again, thank you for reaching out but I just don’t think there is anything you could do to restore my confidence in that department. Would I shop with Honda again? Slightly likely because the salesperson was great. But just would not bring it in for service because of the last experience.
