Called this dealership for pricing on a civic and I spoke to Vanessa, once briefly talking pricing with Vanessa I told her I would prefer to go in person and I got there within 30 minutes. Once I arrive she has another salesman by the name of Joaquin help me I tell Joaquin I don’t need to look at the car I know what I want let’s skip to talking the numbers he leaves to get the papers i guess and comes back a half hour later and tells me there are no more civics they are all sold out, ok no worries I told him I would be willing to still work out a deal and then come back once the new car arrives. On their website they had advertised a lease deal of $99 a month with $6,500 down so I tell Joaquin I want the exact deal they have advertised and he tells me that they cannot give me that deal because the car is marked up , go figure you’re never going to get what is advertised then He begins to show me the add ons that this vehicle has and I had to correct him in the fact that he was giving me the wrong pricing. He was showing me a price of $25,000 when I told him the car is $28,000 which is why the monthly payment he was showing me was too high for the $25,000 price. He goes to his manager and sure enough he’s got the wrong price. Before coming here I was at Honda of Cerritos which that salesmen kept texting me to go back over there I tell Joaquin if they can just match the deal that Cerritos is offering which was only $10 monthly payment difference same price, same dealer add ons but a cheaper price overall for the lease term and Joaquin brings out his manager can’t remember his name Brad? I believe. And I show brad the texts I ask if they could just match what Cerritos is offering and he tells me “no sorry we can’t do that I suggest you just go get it over there” really over $10?? You can’t just match it. You rather lose the sale than beat the other dealer. So I did as Brad told me I left and I went straight back to Cerritos and I purchased my Honda Civic there. OH! And Cerritos had the car that day I wouldn’t have to wait for it so I got to actually take it home. Now Joaquin and Brad email me asking if I would still consider their offer. Too late. I did as you told me to I went to Cerritos. Don’t waste your time coming here. Shop around Go to Diamond Honda in Puente Hills or Norm Reeves in Cerritos or Honda in Pasadena there are plenty OTHER honda dealerships that would be willing to MATCH or BEAT another dealerships price if you come to Honda Downtown LA just know you’re not getting a good deal you are paying more for that car than everyone else is.
