Nick was able to get me in with no appointment. It was my first visit with a car that was new to me. Nick was friendly, yet knowledgeable and professional. Over the past week, I went into the dealership twice to start a deal for a new Civic Si. I first spoke with Manny, who said they have a “no markup” but have ~$5k worth of obligatory accessories… go figure. start a deal for a new Civic Si. I first spoke with Manny, who said they have a “no markup” but have ~$5k worth of obligatory accessories… go figure. Later, after some back and forth and two separate visits, I spoke with one of the sales managers, JJ, who told me to email him my trade-in information to work something out. I thought we were on the road to making a deal at MSRP; however, once I was notified that the car had arrived at the dealer from the factory, I called to check where we were and was told someone would call me back, and then we could speak. I didn’t hear back, and I assume they do not want to do business with me. I asked them to let me know ASAP but to no avail. I genuinely regret spending any time speaking with them and driving an hour round trip to that dealership only for this. Please avoid them; there are far better Honda dealerships in the San Diego area. As someone who previously worked at a Penske Automotive dealership, this method of business and lack of transparency is concerning, and I hope they consider acting like a Penske dealership. More
