DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME! I’ve tried twice now to purchase a vehicle from this dealer. They advertise vehicles at a reasonable price but they will lowball you on your trade an I’ve tried twice now to purchase a vehicle from this dealer. They advertise vehicles at a reasonable price but they will lowball you on your trade and then the condition of their used cars are always terrible. They offered me $5000 lower than anyone on my truck, next day I went to another dealer and traded it in for $6000 more. They wasted my time with that car but I saw a big banner on their website saying under new management we will give you thousand more for trade etc. so I figured I would try again. I had been offered $22k elsewhere, they came in at $13,000!!!! So of course I laughed and their sales manager proceeded to try and argue it was a reasonable price. He pulled up Carmax in front of me and put in my vin and options all the while talking about how they aggressively value their trades but they have to use tools like this to get real world numbers. He hits submit on the appraisal and guess what pops up? $19,600!!! His face dropped. What was his excuse now? So I said I’m guessing if that’s essentially a “cash” offer as Carmax just buys the car outright then makes sense the other dealer who will mark it up and sell it and wants to make a deal came in at $22k. He went away and came back with a new number…$15,000!!!! Now I should have walked away the first time but I stupidly sat there and argued. How do you show me Carmax says $19,600 a dealer offers $22k and you STILL only at $15,000! He went away again and came back and said best they could do was $17,000!!! Showing me KBB value now on a sheet. A sheet he read wrong as to start it was the wholesale price not the trade in value and secondly was reading the part prior to the low mileage credit that actually bumped it to around $17,800. So I laughed again as he had now shown me that worst case wholesale price was $17,800 so if the dealer didn’t try to sell it and just sent it to auction he would make $800 and the other one saying minimum trade value on Carmax was $19,600 yet was still firm on $17,000! His boss then came out and when I asked him why he offered $13,000 wasn’t that insulting he LAUGHED and said you can’t blame us for making money!!!! Literally laughed at the fact he knew he tried to rip me off and low ball me and then Made a comment about how often that works!!! Told me he doesn’t care he’s just in it to make money. When I asked him about the banner on the website “under new management and offer you more for your trade” he had nothing to respond. He came up maybe $200 and then said take it or leave it. So stupidly I said send to finance and I had been approved with suncoast for 7.6% and wanted to use them again. Again don’t judge me I should have walked away at the Low ball offer I realize that but happy wife happy life. Learn from my mistake and don’t go here! So after quite sometime a nice guy named Paris comes out and says he’s finance and wanted to let me know they don’t use Suncoast anymore but rather than tell me that when I told the manager about my approval for a low rate. They shopped my credit around all over the place and best rate was 14% with capital one!!! So I made it clear I want to finance with my pre approved rate of 6.5% at suncoast, don’t tell me they don’t have suncoast as a lender and now my phone is dinging over and over saying someone has made an inquiry on my report several time and then come with 14%!!! Obviously at this point I woke up and said enough but no one came out after to talk to me. Paris was very nice but he just broke the news and left and then I was just sat at a table by myself in the middle of the dealership. A my salesman’s had been great and super nice guy! I hope he moves to another dealership as I would love to buy a car from him. But he was in the back prepping the car thinking I’m buying it. But no manager came out to talk to me. Like any other dealer I’ve worked with normally takes the time to come say goodbye, I’m sorry we couldn’t make the deal. Nothing.i walked out and NEVER Again! More

We've been a Honda of Fort Myers customer for 2 decades now, and in that time have purchased 5 vehicles from them, and they've always treated us with respect and kindness. 2 of the vehicles mentioned have now, and in that time have purchased 5 vehicles from them, and they've always treated us with respect and kindness. 2 of the vehicles mentioned have been purchased within the last year. Our go-to salesperson Burlin Gibson is great to work with and we hope to work with him again. Most recently I had a service visit and Sarah Howell took great care of me.
