My wife and I closed on the purchase of a 2014 Accord LX on 01/31/14. It had been about 13 years since we had dealt with a vehicle dealership, and it wasn't a process that we were looking forward to. But from the beginning of our dealings with Honda of Gainesville to the closing on the purchase, it was a good, stress free, no pressure experience. Matt quickly responded to an email inquiry I had sent and provided excellent follow-up with good information. Luis made the closing at the financial end very smooth and less cumbersome than expected, addressing every question we raised; very professional and 1st class. And James, well, he was just super from beginning to end; and still is with his follow-up. James' approach to us, as customers, was and has been with a view to satisfy the customer. We test drove 3 Accords on different days, and James was always very accommodating. He provided excellent data for our use in comparing the Accord to a Mazda-6 and a Ford Fusion. He assisted us with any request we had without hesitation. In short, it has been an excellent experience working with James; the same as it was with Matt and Luis. I went to Honda of Gainesville not expecting to be able to get a vehicle due to my poor credit score (a tad below 600). When I arrived at the dealership, Chris Irvin was very courteous in listening to the needs of my wife and I. After test-driving a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring, we decided to purchase the vehicle. A few days later, after we had found out that the financing fell through on the vehicle, Mr. Irvin tirelessly worked to get us into another one. We are now completely happy with the "replacement car", a 2011 Nissan Versa. The customer service was top notch. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle. Also, if you want a dealer that isn't going to give you the proverbial "run-around" that is common in many used car salesmen, ask for Chris Irvin!! Due to the great experience we had, my wife and I plan on returning to the dealership to purchase our next vehicle. More

Matt Like contacted me after an internet inquiry. He was pleasant, informative and relaxed in a positive way. He answered all questions thoroughly, gave me more than enough information about the vehicle to make a good decision. Unfortunately, the finance manager could not get the cost low enough for me to consider the purchase. I was extremely impressed with Matt's enthusiasm, interest in the customer and when he was asked questions by me about his career, his indication of how much he enjoyed what he was doing and the steps he was taking on his own to increase his knowledge of management and the industry. The fact that I didn't purchase the vehicle was in no way related to anything Matt did or did not do. I must point out that when I shared with Matt that I did have an offer from another dealership, we discussed it, he did his best to work a similar deal there, but to no avail. He did not insult the or make any negative comment about the other dealer. However, when the finance manager came out to discuss it with me, one of his first comments was something negative about the dealership where I had received my other offer. Chris Irvin greeted me at the front door with cars ready to test drive. I was hit by a drunk driver and was very anxious about driving again.
