You Can't Make This Stuff up! We have had tge same experience as Sheri. About 2 months ago, we were notified that our son's 2003 Civic was subject to the airbag recall. We re We have had tge same experience as Sheri. About 2 months ago, we were notified that our son's 2003 Civic was subject to the airbag recall. We responded to the dealer, setup the appointment, and took the car in. When we asked how long the work would take, the Service Dept informed us they didn't have the parts but could order them.. So why did you schedule the appt without the parts in hand? We got a look that could only come from a brain-dead jelly bean. When we indicated we'd come back, they said don't worry, we'll expedite the order. Expedite means something different at this dealer than to the poulation in general. daily calls produced one excuse and then another. Finally, at the end of the week, we get a call - repairs are done, come pick up the car. When my son returned home he informed us that the dealer could only get the passenger side airbag and he'd have to come back when the part came in. Fast forward 7 weeks. That's right, almost 2 months for a safety recall. We get another letter - "your repair is only half done, come in immediately to rectify this important safety issue". All in red letters. So ... we call, explain the situation, and set up an appointment. We arrive on time, 2nd car in the queue, and we wait. 15 minutes, 30 minutes,, a trip to the service desk and we're told "they'll be right with you. 45 minutes- nobody shows, and finally my wife walks into a service agent's office and asks "what gives?" It took us 1 hour to see a service agent when we arrived at the appointed time for service the dealer identified as critical. It gets better. About an hour after we left, the dealer called to tell us the service was complete. Well, not exactly. Turns out, they didn't have the part and would have to order it. That would be the red letter, critical safety feature they supposedly took 7 weeks to back order and then scheduled an appointment to install! If that wasn't bad enough, they then tried to sell us an oil change and 4 new tires!! When we didn't bite, they told us to come get the car - that would be the car they'd arranged to fix after a 7-week delay and then left us cooling our jets for an hour before we could get it into their shop for the non-service. Suffice it to say, the car remains at the dealer, awaiting the repair. So ... after two months and more than a week having the car out of action, we still don't have this critical safety issue resolved. It's pretty obvious that these guys don't want to be doing recall work. Stay as far away from these smarmy characters as you can get. They may have changed ownership after the franchise was convicted of fraudulent sales tactics, but it would appear that the same managers are running the service department. Honda needs to close this dealership or replace the owner and every manager. More

We were there to see our options for an used Honda Pilot because we need a bigger car. We set down with Raul and Ryan and they listen to what we needed and helped through. They worked with us. They didn't pressure us. We felt very relax and good. We even got the all weather matts and the guys at the service counter were very friendly and professional. Overall a very good experience! Terrible, horrible service department Set up apt 4 wks ago to replace defective airbag. They never confirmed my apt. I called day of apt. They said i could bring car in 2 hrs after apt time, i had to spend an hr digging my car out of driveway w no family help (family was at school/work) since i had been away for 3 wks. Arrived at dealership which is 20 min from my house to be told they did not have any replacement airbags. And would not until at least April. After waiting 20 min to speak to their manager- i left without speaking to him, he never came down. They said "oh he's in a meeting with management" to which I replied, " isn't the customer more important than that-because it should be" I was very cordial to employee. Horrible customer service, it is the second time I have been at that dealership and the second time I have had poor customer service. Go to Honda in Annandale-excellent service there-even though it is a bit farther away. More

No nonsense, clean car, best price We were searching online for a certified pre-owned Honda CRV and found one we were looking for at Hackettstown Honda. It looked really nice online and turned out to be even nicer when we actually saw it. We worked with Roy Byers who made us feel comfortable and exceeded our expectations every step of the way.. For a car that was 3 years old, it was clean, showroom condition. The sales manager said he was very picky and proud of the cars he sells and he was right on. We were able to negotiate a deal that was far better then any of the competition. They processed a loan and we drove home in our newly purchased CRV all in the same day. From this experience, we would highly recommend Hackettstown Honda. Rich More

Over the River and Through the Woods (Incredible Experience) I recently was in the market for a new Honda after surviving a totalling accident in my last Honda Accord. Using the Pre-Owned Certified Honda website to compare prices and value, I found an incredible buy at Hackettstown, NJ Honda. Every step of the way was an incredible experience. From the accurate verification that the vehicle was available (certified the day before and only posted that day with Roger verifying the information for us before we made the long drive "over the rivers and through the woods to Hackettstown Honda you should go!").... Then we met our salesman, Phil Brule. With Phil as our low preasure no punches salesman, we had an incredible time looking at the vehicle, test driving it, and finalizing the sale. For you veterans or proud Americans who want to recognize a Vietnam Vet who saw some true action with the 101st Airborne, make the trip to Hackettstown Honda and ask for Phil! You will enjoy the experience and recognize one true red blooded American who deserves recognition for his service. Last, we wrapped up our financing with Jason, the business manager, who did an outstanding job giving us a lower interest rate than the one we walked in with from our Insurance Company, USAA! Needless to say, we purchased an awesome vehicle which when compared in value across the region, there was no better price or deal (6K on the vehicle)! I would highly recommend a trip to Hackettstown Honda who throws in a full years worth of oil changes (when other dealers only provide a few at best).
