Took far longer than predicted I went in for an oil change after receiving a coupon in the mail. The person who checked me in said it might be a while, and estimated 45 minutes. After an hour and fifteen minutes, I asked for an update and was told my car would go in in five to ten minutes, and then the actual oil change would take half an hour. At this point I decided to go home and come back. I did not get a call until about an hour later. I am not upset that the oil change took a long time. The shop was very busy and I had not made an appointment. However, I would have appreciated if the estimated time were more realistic or even intentionally overshot how long it would take. That way, I would have gone home initially instead of trying to wait it out. In all other respects, it was a fine visit. The waiting area was fairly comfortable. The people who helped me were polite and helpful. More
