Disappointed I took my car to Honda for a oil change I was told the tires were wearing out and would need to be replaced so I had them replaced. Then I was told th I took my car to Honda for a oil change I was told the tires were wearing out and would need to be replaced so I had them replaced. Then I was told that some damage had been done to the wheel. Of course I hit something causing this damage. I submit that damage may have been caused in the manufacture of the car or at the dealership. I am not a person that would hit something with my car and not remember but I was accused of doing just that. To add insult to injury on my way home the tire warning light came on I pulled over and called Honda and was told to reset the warning light which it would NOT do. I was told to take the car to a tire dealership to get the pressures checked. They found the tires were overinflated. One tire was set at over fourty pounds. The tag on the car said to set tires at 33 pounds. I think the service department messed up badly. More

Fast service I went in for a oil change and brake fluid replacement. I was out of there in an hour. Very nice advisor. He let me use a coupon after he already wrote up the ticket. There are a couple things that needed replaced and I am doing them as I save money. He was nice enough to give me a rough estimate of how much each one would cost so I can save money for it. I love going to Honda to get all of my maintenance done! More
Only went for airbag and seatbelt recalls Well, I only went there because there is no Honda dealer where I live. But would I recommend them? Not a chance. They said the recall fix would take maybe an hour. At 2.5 hours I went up and said I just wanted my car back, even if it wasn't done. They had it up on the rack. Not sure why. Then the guy came back to me and said I needed about $2000 worth of work done. This made me laugh. I don't know who your customer base is. Perhaps people who don't know there are independent mechanics in every zipcode. He had a big list of what needed doing. I probably do need to have my fluids flushed so I've made an appointment with my mechanic for this. This guy even said one of my license plate lights was out; I immediately went out, turned on the lights, and magic! The lights were fine. You people take advantage of anybody who doesn't know any better. I know it isn't just you, it's every dealer. I understand going there for warranty work but I honestly can't think of any other reason why you would. Your price to replace my timing belt is something ridiculous like $1139. My mechanic charges $300-something. I am an educated car owner, not some woman coming in by herself, ready to be reamed. I guess your fancy building costs a lot per month and you pass those costs along to customers. It's extortion in my book: nothing more and nothing less. If I need a Honda dealer in the future, I'll go to Springfield. More
