They said the recall fix would take maybe an hour. At 2.5 hours I went up and said I just wanted my car back, even if it wasn't done. They had it up on the rack. Not sure why. Then the guy came back to me and said I needed about $2000 worth of work done. This made me laugh. I don't know who your customer base is. Perhaps people who don't know there are independent mechanics in every zipcode. He had a big list of what needed doing. I probably do need to have my fluids flushed so I've made an appointment with my mechanic for this. This guy even said one of my license plate lights was out; I immediately went out, turned on the lights, and magic! The lights were fine. You people take advantage of anybody who doesn't know any better. I know it isn't just you, it's every dealer. I understand going there for warranty work but I honestly can't think of any other reason why you would. Your price to replace my timing belt is something ridiculous like $1139. My mechanic charges $300-something. I am an educated car owner, not some woman coming in by herself, ready to be reamed. I guess your fancy building costs a lot per month and you pass those costs along to customers. It's extortion in my book: nothing more and nothing less. If I need a Honda dealer in the future, I'll go to Springfield. More

Fast service I went in for a oil change and brake fluid replacement. I was out of there in an hour. Very nice advisor. He was nice enough to give me a rough estimate of how much each one would cost so I can save money for it. I love going to Honda to get all of my maintenance done! More
