Oil Consumption I brought my Crosstour in because the check engine light was on and upon further investigation at a local mechanic, it was caused by low oil levels wh I brought my Crosstour in because the check engine light was on and upon further investigation at a local mechanic, it was caused by low oil levels which had disabled my VCM, triggering the light. It was recommended that I take it to a Honda dealer to perform an oil consumption test. I told the Brian, the advisor, that I had already put 2 quarts in on Tuesday and the check engine light went off Friday. After waiting two hours, we were told that the sensors were weak and there was carbon build up since the car was consuming oil and recommend it be cleaned. We agreed to this, however, it was never confirmed where the oil went. I appreciate that the service department is open on Saturdays and offer loaner cars. Brian and Keith were very nice. More

The staff members explained everything to me and gave me a loaner vehicle to use in the mean time while my vehicle was being serviced. My vehicle was ready the next day but I was not able to pick it up since I was working - I appreciated the staff being understanding of this and letting me use the loaner car until the following morning when I was able to pick up my vehicle. After trying to obtain an explanation about this discrepancy from four different employees, I was NEVER given a straight answer. My questions were diverted each time I asked. In addition to this sketchy numbers game, I was asked by more than one employee to give all 10s on their survey. One employee even attempted to bribe me with a tank of gas and free oil change! I was completely insulted. More
