I came with fairly solid numbers on what I expected on price and trade in, and neither were unreasonable or unrealistic, so the whole process of price negotiation was about five minutes and never got the least bit antagonistic. I wanted to focus on the bottom line rather than monthly payments and didn't want to lease, and the conversation never even started in the direction of stereotypical car sales shell games.
