The dealership was welcoming to me and my family. Patient with the process and didn’t make me feel rushed Patient with the process and didn’t make me feel rushed More
Mitch had the vehicle pulled out of detail so we could test drive it and not have to wait and then while we were filling out paper work he made sure it got put back into detail so it was clean when we lef test drive it and not have to wait and then while we were filling out paper work he made sure it got put back into detail so it was clean when we left with it. He filled the tank with gas and also called me to let me know we left our dash cam in my old vehicle so I was able to pick it up. More
I had a 2010 Honda accord I had towed into the Honda of Lake City (Florida) dealership to look for an oil cap that blew off when I tried to wash engine. After a complimentary inspection, It needed a lot of Lake City (Florida) dealership to look for an oil cap that blew off when I tried to wash engine. After a complimentary inspection, It needed a lot of work done, but it was a very reliable car. Getting me around the Country and into Canada for 6 years. I was met first by Casey and talked to him letting him know upfront I am on a fixed income, can only afford about $200 a month in payments. I preferred to stay with a Honda. The only option was a CRV that payment would have been $389 a month So I passed. It was suggested to me to be open about other vehicles. So I was to meet with Casey again on a Saturday. He was with another customer so then a Mitchel Cook talked to me. I again was upfront about my income (under 1100 a month) and needed to stay about $200 for payments. I ended up making the mistake of my life by getting rid of my car for a 2019 Dodge Journey Crossroad paying almost $300 a month for, and several things were wrong after with only 1 thing I new about was the radio I knew about. The digitizer needed to be replaced it looked like it was punched and did not work for the touch screen. Then after purchasing it I noticed the right headlight had a bunch of water in it after it rained which wasn't there when I bought it The back up camera was Blurry I was told it just needed to be cleaned off, when that didn't help it, I was told it was because of the broken digitizer. On replacing that, the back up camera still was blurry, I had to pay (using sunbit) to have Honda of Gainesville to install the Camera as Honda of lake city never called me back for an estimate. and the camera points towards the ground so not sure if it was installed correctly. The vehicle also seemed sluggish. But was told nothing was wrong with it. I could not get it to go to 55 after turning onto the highway, I was told I was street racing. I know now to drive. I was trying to get the car to 55mph which is the speed limit on that road. Fast forward it is 3 weeks later the car broke down on the side of the road I was told I denied roadside (I don't recall being offered it), so had to find my own way for a tow. It was towed to a dodge shop (which honda of Lake city Florida) suggested. It was approved for the warranty $5000 MINUS $250 deductible. But the TOTAL is going to be another $3040.69 above that worth of parts and work! A pre existing issue that I'm sure they were aware of. It kept mentioning lifetime warranty on the engine and drive train. So much work was done to that vehicle looking at the full carfax, nothing ever mentioned about the transmission Not a fluid check, not a flush. So now I'm not only in debt to the nice tune of $25,000.00 for 7 years when all is said and done, I also have no vehicle. Not even made a first payment yet. Who is going to fix this? I was contacted by Steve Haggel a GM of Honda of lake city Florida. Pretty much given the run around. Given excuses he was in the hospital. I am sorry he has health issues, but I've been stuck in the same clothes since Saturday tomorrow will be 1 week without ANY of MY medication for MY health. I was told Jessica Havely of honda of lake city would be contacting the mechanic. Heard nothing. After I reached out to her, she was DISGUSTINGLY RUDE and petty much told me it's my fault buying an as is used vehicle, and I'm screwed but and they would "graciously" pay $1000.00 towards the $3040.69. GRACIOUSLY.. Florida doesn't have a lemon law for used vehicles. They also seem to have predatory practices on the poor with bad credit apparently because of that. And in getting a lawyer involved they have to be licensed in Wisconsin and Florida. So who is going to pay the rest of it? It isn’t like I had the car for 6 months, a year, 2 years. I had it THREE WEEKS! It is currently at the Dodge Dealership in Clintonville, Wisconsin. More
Costumer services is terrible,Wasn’t our best experience dealing with a new dealership. Really liked the vehicle online and in person. But costumer service was bad.We had to wait over a week to get the vehic dealing with a new dealership. Lake City Honda was easy to deal with. They are not to pushy and allow you to decide on your own. I recommend this dealership. They are not to pushy and allow you to decide on your own. I recommend this dealership. More
