Buying a car at the Honda Superstore of Lisle was a great experience. They had just the certified used car we wanted, in the color we wanted, and with very low mileage. Lanny was awesome. He was never pushy and really seemed to have my best interest in mind. When I told him I was looking to downsize from a Suburban to a CR-V, he made sure that I realized the difference i to have my best interest in mind. When I told him I was looking to downsize from a Suburban to a CR-V, he made sure that I realized the difference in seating size, and told me about the Pilot since it would be a more comparable downsize to what I had. It never felt like he was pushing the ilot on me, it was clear that he wanted to make sure that I wasn't sacrificing the space I needed in my quest to save money on monthly payments and on gas. Once I confirmed that the CR-V has all the space I needed, he really rolled out the red carpet and told me all about the car and took me on a test drive. He helped me find the right CR-V that had everything that was important to me in my new car (mainly the moon roof). During our visit, Lanny took the time to work out some numbers to help me with my decision process, including having my trade-in appraised, looking at opricing ptions with two different submodels I was considering, and finance vs. lease. I have to been to other dealerships in the area, who wouldn't even give me an idea of this information unless I confirmed to them that I was wanting to make a deal that day. Lanny listened to everything that I said that was important to me (lower montly payments, gas savings, reliability, moon roof) and really worked WITH me to get what I needed and wanted. Knowing my approximate credit score & trade in balance really helped Lanny find the right deal for me. I told Lanny I would think about it over lunch and let him know what I wanted to do. He made sure I left with complete information, so I could make an educated choice, and never once pushed me into anything. When I left, I felt incredibly peaceful. The deal we had worked out would drop my monthly payments by $64 (not bad, considering the CR-V is 9 years newer) and an estimated gas savings of $100 a month. I called Lanny within an hour and told him I was ready to come back and make the deal. I returned to the dealership & everything was ready to go. Brad was very nice, and I only had to spend about 5-10 minutes in his office signing the finance paperwork. Lanny proceeded to get me all set up in the car, including synching my phone with the bluetooth device and showing me how to set the clock. I was the happiest woman, driving away with the moon roof open, enjoying the new car smell of my brand new CR-V EX!! I made the right choice, and I am very thankful to Lanny for making it so easy and stress-free!! I will be back, and will definetely be referring my friends and family. More
Tremendous experience! I went in for service on my 100,000+ miles Odyssey and ended up walking out with a new 2012 Odyssey! This is my fourth Honda Odyssey (perhaps my last one as my kids are getting 100,000+ miles Odyssey and ended up walking out with a new 2012 Odyssey! This is my fourth Honda Odyssey (perhaps my last one as my kids are getting older)and it is definitely the best of them all. Robin was wonderful to work with - she was upfront, honest and tried her best to come up with a deal that we could both live with. The result - a car that I actually can't wait to drive! The team of Mike DalPino, Mark Peterson and Vic Vibhakar made the day a great one. I came in with my wife and daughter to see the new Civic lineup. We narrowed it down and Mike (our salesman) showed us the car, helped us pick a color, explained the features and answered all our questions. Mike knows a lot about Honda cars. Mark Peterson (Sales Manager)came over a little later and introduced himself. I told him that all I wanted was to leave the dealership with a smile on my face. He said he would do his best and give me his best price. I did my research before I came in and knew what I wanted to spend. Mark was true to his word. He came over and handed us the price and I was very very pleased. The price he gave me was less than what I planned to spend. I said you got a deal. Later came Vic, the Finance Manager. We worked with him 12 years prior. We liked him then and we like him even more now. He answered all our questions and made us feel very comfortable. After buying the car, it is a Honda of Lisle tradition to "Bang the Gong". Lots of staff clapped and showed their enthusiasm. All in all the whole thing took about 2 hours. I have bought a total of three Honda's from this dealership and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. Great dealership + great service = one happy customer. We met Robin Bresley last fall when we were purchasing a CRV. Although we wound up buying the car from another dealer due to price, we were impressed enough with Robin, that when we located a used car we wa CRV. This time we were able to close the deal. In both our dealings with Robin, she was friendly, totally professional and certainly didn’t fit the stereotype of pushy car sales.
