Was told my trade-in had a salvage title While discussing a lease deal on my car, Jeff Shell went to look at my current vehicle. Jeff Shell ran a Carfax on the car. I was told by Jeff Shell the car had a salvage title and was worth $500. Today I ran my own Carfax and it is not salvage and the trade-in was listed at approximately $5500-$6000 with a retail value of $8000+. When I spoke to the sales manager today, he tried to tell me that I misheard. However, my wife was at my side when the event took place and she heard exactly what I heard. This appears to me to be some kind of an attempt to be some kind of a rip off. More
