Great experience of buying a new car We bought a just launched new model year car and worked with "Mehdi Hjiaj" of Honda of New Rochelle and the experience was truly amazing. Through out We bought a just launched new model year car and worked with "Mehdi Hjiaj" of Honda of New Rochelle and the experience was truly amazing. Through out the buying experience his service was exceptional. He in fact picked us up from the local train station in the night when the courtesy shuttle was not available. He made sure our expectations are met in terms of the price and color of the car which was just launched. He was very open and transparent in the deal process. Great Experience I went to Honda of New Rochelle planning to lease the Honda CRV. After sitting in the car, I realized this was not the car for me. However; Jose Gomez I went to Honda of New Rochelle planning to lease the Honda CRV. After sitting in the car, I realized this was not the car for me. However; Jose Gomez was super helpful and informative and showed me other options that were more suiting to my needs. I ended up leasing the Honda HRV and absolutely love it! Great and Stress free experience I went in to Honda of New Rochelle over the weekend to test drive the Honda HRV. Jose Gomez was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the car. He I went in to Honda of New Rochelle over the weekend to test drive the Honda HRV. Jose Gomez was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the car. He asked what I was looking for in a car and did not pressure me into a decision. I ended up driving the car home that day. My mom went the next day and got the same car from him! Incompetence Maybe the worst experience ever! 2013 Pilot with 35000mi. Purchased 9 months ago certified pre owned. As part of the deal they threw in 1 yr free s Maybe the worst experience ever! 2013 Pilot with 35000mi. Purchased 9 months ago certified pre owned. As part of the deal they threw in 1 yr free scheduled maintenance. B16 light comes on dash, spoke to rep, scheduled appt for following week. I had an 8am appointment but when I called at 4pm, they had not yet looked at the car but assured me it wouldn't take long and they would get back to me. 10am the next morning - When I called, they still had not looked at the car and gave me the same, 1.5 - 2hours, they will call when its ready. 4pm - my service rep was on the other line but I was told she would get right back to me. 5pm - the person that answered the phone told me my car was ready. They changed the oil, fixed the wipers and changed the oil in the differential and it only took a day and a half (it would probably still be there if I hadn't called). They also told me I needed new back tires due cupping and wear. When I asked how that happened they told me incorrect tire inflation and lack of rotation (WRONG and not to mention the car was in 4mo prior for oil/service). I declined. I did take the car to a reputable tire store and they told me the tires were fine. When I called to make the appt. I also mentioned that there was a vibration at certain speeds and offered to take the mechanic for a ride to demonstrate. They declined, and said the differential oil would take care of it. It didn't do anything (and they went back to the tire cupping story) Lastly, they explained that the 1 year scheduled maintenance is really only oil changes. Never go back there again. More
