We walked on to the lot and were immediately greeted by Noel and he let us know if we needed anything to please let him know and he introduced us to Mike the Manager. It was in excellent condition and we are very satisfied with the car. Noel is very personable and I took a few business cards because I know some friends who are looking for cars and I highly recommend Noel. He listened to all our needs and made some suggestions and that's how we made our choice. He remained friendly throughout the whole process and really looked out for us. Mike came in and helped close the deal with his great pricing. We then dealt with Jason who handled all the financing and got us a better rate than anticipated. He also took his time explaining all the paperwork and answering any questions that we had. Overall it was a great experience and we had our car in less than 24 hrs. During my test-drive of the Honda Civic, the conversation easily transitioned between friendly chat and details of the car. Then we sat down to talk numbers, which was less of a hassle than it has ever been for me. I told him exactly my financial goal, and he worked with me to the best of his ability. He always had a smile on his face, always looked me in the eye, and never regarded me as anything less than his top priority at that moment. I called this dealer and spoke to a guy named Kenny and I called this dealer and spoke to a guy named Kenny and explained my situation and budget to him. I specifically told him my budget was $10,000.00.He told me to come over that he had cars in that price range. When I got to the dealer I found out Kenny was a telemarketing person, not a salesman or a manager. He introduced me to a manager Mike Murano who instructed another salesman who proceeded to try to sell me cars priced way over my budget. I explained to this individual was my budget was , he told to ignored the listed prices on the cars and stated that he was going to work with me, to chose a car. I chose a car and we went to his work area to complete the paperwork. Again the price wasn't right and I was about to walk out .I explained what my budget was. he went back to the managers office and came back with a piece a paper and show it to me. He had written on it $13,500.00 meaning the final price on the vehicle. I told him that I was willing to pay $13,000.00 for the vehicle I wanted. He told he couldn't sell it for that price. I walked out and left. A few minutes later I called the dealer and ask to speak k to mike murano. and told him that I had change my mind that I was going to paid him the $13,500.00 .He said that he was going to check something and call me right back , about an hour later I receive a call from a salesman stating that they couldn't sell that vehicle for less than $14,000.00. We've come to expect nothing but the best customer service and received exactly that upon turn dealing with Honda of New Rochelle for many years now. We've come to expect nothing but the best customer service and received exactly that upon turning in our lease and inquiring about a new one. Dave Larty approached us upon walking in the dealership with a wide smile and a hand shake. He was very pleasant, informative and professional. We knew exactly what we wanted and what we wanted to spend. After a little while of running some numbers, with some minor adjustments, we came to an amicable arrangement and made the final transaction with in a few days. It was one of the easiest and friendliest experiences we've had with a dealer. David is a rare commodity these days. While he had the right balance of humor, knowledge and charm I would imagine are necessary qualities in sales. He was genuine, engaging, attentive and very friendly. As a customer I look for value in the products I buy and the companies I deal with. While Honda is a quality brand with a quality product it needs to be ran by quality people in every aspect of the business. David Larty is a quality salesman who adds to that value. More
