Honda of New Rochelle - a Marvelous Experience! On Sat, 1/26/19, I purchased a 2019 Honda CR-V. The experience was Fantastic, Hassle Free and I dare say pleasant. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I was interested in the CR-V and he referred me to Ivan Chavez on the sales team. Ivan was friendly, knowledgeable and even-tempered. While I was very interested in purchasing a car, he did not push me or suggest unnecessary extras. They gave me an attractive trade-in price for my old vehicle. They referred me to Anthony in the Finance Dept., who was also very courteous and helpful. They were able to complete the deal that day, a Saturday, and I drove out with my new car at 6 pm! Great. Transparency I was looking to buy a Honda CRV from a private seller, that’s how I always bought my cars. That’s due to a very bad experience with a dealer, so I had no intention of getting a car from one ever! Unfortunately the demand for CRVs is huge, since it became so popular, that it was super hard to find one of the year and trim I wanted ( with the least amount of miles as well) on my budget. When I did find something from a private, they’re asking a lot for it. I really needed a car, l had sold mine, had my daddy’s for a week, and after that was renting one for another 2 weeks, it was getting very expensive, so I did what I thought I’d never do, I stated to look for it on dealerships, that’s when my real nightmare started I’m in CT, and sometimes would call places super far from where we were, to make sure the car advertised at “a great price” was available for sure before I made the trip, and when I mentioned I wanted to pay cash, and not finance it, they would say there was extra fees bc of that, and other fees I can’t (thank goodness) remember the purpose of. We went to a dealership, and waited there for a hour until someone payed attention on us. Finally, my husband, my son and myself, heard they couldn’t show the car. Let me make clear that I had called about it two hours before, and they confirmed it was there and available, I could go see it! It was one bad response after other. Finally I came across Honda of New Rochelle, and believe me, I probably wouldn’t been taking my time to write a review, if a month ago I was not desperate reading reviews from buyers from all over describing their not so great experiences. I saw a few cars online on their website, and decided to call to inquire about the one I like best, unfortunately that one was sold, but my second pic was available. I drove there on the following day, and met the selesperson I had spoke with over the phone. I can not say enough good things about JAWAYNE, he made me feel super comfortable at a place that I know otherwise I wouldn’t be. We went for a test drive, I really love the car (no surprise there since this is my 3rd CRV). He was clear as Chrystal about all the DMV and taxes fees I was paying, nothing hidden. On the next day my husband and I went there payed for the car, and happily drove out of there with a feeling we had a fair deal, and were not taken vantage of. The manager was also very nice and clear on the time of the closing, and showed us all the papers and details of the warranty. I couldn’t ask for a better and smoother transaction, and that’s thanks to JAWAYNE, and his honesty and commitment. Hope that helps anyone who like I was, is struggling to buy a car, what is suppose to be a fun thing to do, specially as a family :) More

Good experience Edgar was pleasant to deal with. The transaction seemed to took a long time but they made the deal to take my Honda Civic and got me into to the used Edgar was pleasant to deal with. The transaction seemed to took a long time but they made the deal to take my Honda Civic and got me into to the used CRV the same day. They took care of all the paperwork and saved me from having to come back again to pick up the vehicle. I hate going to buy a car but Edgar made it a pleasant experience. The dealership closed at 6pm but they stayed about an hour late to get all of the paperwork done and get me out with the car. Thomas O'Shea and Sandy with the financing were very helpful in the transaction as well. More
