I spoke with a sales person about a pre owned pilot that I absolutely loved and worked the deal for about two weeks. The sales person Andie did an amazing job as well as Tyler. They were both very nice and I absolutely loved and worked the deal for about two weeks. The sales person Andie did an amazing job as well as Tyler. They were both very nice and knowledgeable on the vehicle. I got a message on the last day of the month that they could get close to my number I needed to be at and was super excited. I had them pull my credit and agree that everything would be in place by the time I got there. After waiting a little while for finance my sales person comes to me to inform me that the taxes were not calculated correctly and at this point it’s up to me if I still want the vehicle I have to pay almost 3k more for a mistake the manager made. It was a very positive experience in the beginning and was super happy the manager worked with me to try to get to my number but when this situation occurred it rubbed me the wrong way. Why did he not come personally apologize to me? Why was I not given a good explanation? All I was told was taxes were miscalculated and now it my problem. It would not have been as big of a deal to me if I hadn’t already signed off on numbers and did partial paperwork. This was the exact car I was looking for and I’m just confused as to if this was on purpose because they didn’t truly want to do the deal. Anyways it’s unfortunate this happened I wish it could’ve been different! More
