Huge failure here beyond the usual excessive dealership repair charges. I came in for a parasitic leak that was killing my battery. It wasn't the alternator or starter--all confirmed from my usual mechanic, who said that the dealership could find and fix the draw faster. They didn't. Due to mistakes, it took a WEEK, including 1 day for New Years Day. So six days, if I'm being generous. I came in on a Tuesday morning at 9:30ish. My initial repair manager went on vacation the following day, but he told me the part (a new door handle) was being ordered and that the car would be done the next day, Wednesday. Well... he apparently didn't order the new door handle that was causing the draw, and he definitely didn't assign my car to a new manager. I had multiple unanswered texts and had to call 5 times before another repair rep finally took responsibility for my car... and told me that the part hadn't come in. This was the end of the day Wednesday. Thursday was New Years, so they'd be closed. Related to this, they don't respect the customer's time. This CRV is our only car, and they never once gave me an ETA about when the repair would be done without me asking MULTIPLE times. But what about the repair? I hope it's fixed.. I went to them because they're supposed to be the Honda electrical experts and would find the draw faster with their fancy Honda diagnostics. All they did was show me a video that showed my door handle lock was malfunctioning. Yeah, I and my mechanic saw that too. But is that THE cause of the parasitic drain? Until I asked for the data, they just assumed that the handle was the cause, but didn't confirm it with amp DATA. I could have had a broken door handle AND the parasitic draw coming from somewhere else in the car. The handle malfunction by itself wasn't a big deal, so I would not have had that fixed if it wasn't CONFIRMED as the cause of the battery drain. If I wanted guessing without data, my original mechanic could have fixed the same issue for half the price and half the time. They get one additional star because the Saturday manger gave me a loaner after receiving the wrong part from Honda (quality control, anyone?) and for ultimately discounting the repair for all their delays, and poor communication. Everyone knows the dealerships charge you more. I knew that going in, but I wanted get this issue finally resolved. But for that price, you're supposed to get fast, expert, and high quality service, not poor communication, mistakes, delays, and guesswork. More

Right before signing the papers, we found out (only because my husband asked) that the car had a minor accident history — something the salesperson never mentioned. On top of that, the sun visor and back seatbelt were broken, which was also not disclosed. We’re really disappointed with the lack of transparency and the way the salesperson handled things. We expected honesty and full disclosure, especially when it comes to safety issues and accident history. This experience made us lose trust in the dealership. More
