I wanted to leave the review specifically for the salesman that we dealt with in our visit 03/28/2025 but I couldn’t remember his name and sadly they don’t have everyone’s pictures here but still, ou salesman that we dealt with in our visit 03/28/2025 but I couldn’t remember his name and sadly they don’t have everyone’s pictures here but still, our experience with this gentleman was so bad that I needed to leave a review. Before going here we went to another dealership were we saw a car that we did liked but wanted to have options before making a decision, the vehicle was nice, the service there was great so we came from having a really good experience to the complete opposite. We went looking for a vehicle that we saw listed on their website, they didn’t had the vehicle anymore so he showed us three other options. The first two weren’t at all our style and the third one was out of our budget (something I pointed out from the moment he showed it to us). Still we did the test drive, it was a pretty nice car but again out of our budget. We decided to see numbers to take a decision because he was insisting “he could make things work”, but for us looking numbers included quoting with our car insurance. When we said we needed to quote with our insurance he insisted that we quoted with someone on their team (something I wouldn’t do because as someone that works in insurance I’ve seen how dealerships would “sell” you insurance without having the license to do so and you end up having issues with the insurance company later, not saying this person doesn’t have their license but wasn’t going to take the risk) a couple of times. Insurance price was okay for us. When we see the “final numbers” (the total balance of this car) was 11k more than what was in our budget. This car was a good deal for that price, but what this salesperson needs to learn is that a “good deal” may not work for everyone, and that one wasn’t going to work for us. He was extremely pushy to make a sale, wouldn’t give us a chance to talk and consider the offer. Not to mention this offer was before him asking gross income, checking credit (which wasn’t bad but still) mortgage amount etc so we knew for a fact this wasn’t the final numbers. After telling him several times that the deal wasn’t going to work out for us and him desperately trying to convince us to buy the car anyway but failing in the process he changed his attitude completely. He started talking poorly (to put it nicely) about the other vehicle we were interested in buying (this vehicle wasn’t on this dealership so of course he was doing that), and ended up closing with “Good luck with that car you’ll need it.” And” If you don’t take this deal someone else will so”. After that we called the previous dealership and closed the deal with them. Another lesson this person needs to learn is even if a potential buyer tells you no the first time they can come back to close the deal, if you decide to act this way they won’t. We could’ve said you know what let’s do it let’s get the car anyway and come back for it, but the experience with this gentleman was so bad that even if we went back inside we wouldn’t have closed the deal with him. I called and made an appointment to have the fuel pump replaced on a recall. They check and said they had the parts. I go in a couple of days later for my 10am appointment and I am told they just alloca replaced on a recall. They check and said they had the parts. I go in a couple of days later for my 10am appointment and I am told they just allocated the last fuel pump 15 minutes ago. What is the point of making an appointment and clearing my schedule for it and going to the dealer if it is just random whether or not they will be able to work on my car. This was bad enough, but I asked if they knew when they were going to get more fuel pumps and they said they didn't know. So I asked if they could call me when they get some in, and they said no. So I said I just have to keep calling to see if you get them in and they said that is what I would have to do. So after having me come in for no reason they can't even be bothered to call me when the parts come in, that is what I consider as bad service. I had to pick a service department person I didn't work with because my service person is not listed and it won't let me post a review without picking someone. More

Everyone was very nice, but they tried to lowball me on my trade in, i spent about 9 hours there the day I bought my car, most of that time spent sitting around waiting for them. It also took a bit longer than it should have to pay off my trade in and they were quite dishonest about their service department wait times. All in all i feel i got a good deal, just felt like i’d been through a war after. They cal also keep their 2 free oil changes, expecting someone to wait 4+ hours for a 15 minute service when they made an appointment in advance is just xx. More
Traded a vehicle to Honda of Ocala on 11/15/24 as of today 12/6/24 my trade in has not been paid off. I am now getting late notifications from my financial institution. When you sign over a trade, all o today 12/6/24 my trade in has not been paid off. I am now getting late notifications from my financial institution. When you sign over a trade, all of that is based on a 10 day pay off. I have been to the dealership and called the dealership multiple times, and nothing is being done as of yet. I would be very hesitant before doing any deals with this company. Highly frustrated with Honda of Ocala. More
