On February 29 we experienced one of our most comfortable vehicle purchases in a VERY long time. Mr. Branden Mitchell had worked with us for over a week in order to find us a vehicle we were most comfortable vehicle purchases in a VERY long time. A week before we purchased our car, we had noticed a used car online that caught our eye so we decided to drive out. at that point we were cordially greeted by Branden Mitchell on the lot while we were looking. It was nice to see that he took the time to come out and say hello and express a sincere politeness that other retail stores could use more of. Mr. Mitchell was attentive to our main interests and did not push or make us feel uncomfortable in ANY way. He truly listened and also had the ability to relax the topic with simple, cordial conversation so we could get to know each-other as we shopped. That is also a very rare trait and also very wise as it is important since this is a considerable purchase that one does not make everyday. Since we NEVER purchase a vehicle the same day we see it, we had a short list of Honda's that we took the time to look over through the week with patience. Branden was impressive and did take the time to call us daily either leaving a cordial message letting us know of other options he had etc. AND that he had not forgotten us. So as the month came to a close, we recieved a call from Branden on the morning of the 29th letting us know that he was able to work out a possibility for us on the vehicle we had an interest in from the beginning when we first met. From there, I let him know I was grateful for his immediate call and sincere interest in our search. At this point we let him know we would be there at a specific time, shook hands over the phone and we ended up being the very last sale of the last day and the last hour of the month. Branden was suprisingly VERY good at his job while we were purchasing our car, he displayed a calm nature and was very orderly about his work. No fumbles and no nonsense. In fact, the Sales Manager had even taken the time to visit before anything had begun and had the consideration to offer us a soda and thank us for coming in. NICE TOUCH! Finally, as we finished up the evening with the finance Manager (Bert) that too was a breeze and VERY informative with all of the options we had available (warranties etc). So overall, the experience was VERY FUN, exciting, imformative and most certainly a true pleasure! My wife left with her new car, which was beautiful and Branden made sure everything was covered with the details of the car before she left so she was comfortable! GREAT JOB BRANDEN AND NORTHWEST!! In the past year, my family has purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership, and with all 3 we could not by happier! First, my wife Patricia was in need of a more fuel efficient vehicle that could still carry this dealership, and with all 3 we could not by happier! First, my wife Patricia was in need of a more fuel efficient vehicle that could still carry a bit of a load while traveling about to lacrosse venues all over the country! We / she found exactly the right vehicle in the Honda CR-V… we've had it for a little under a year now, it gets about 25mpg on the highway (at high highway speeds and with a full load in the back) and we've already racked up about 22,000 very comfortable travel miles on it! The service on the vehicle has been outstanding as well, and you are updated throughout the day as to the status of it! This vehicle we purchased from Mark Honkofsky… My youngest son was looking at cars, and I happened to come across a 2006 Honda Civic SI on their lot… the only caveat for our son was it had to fit his lacrosse equipment in it… He test drove it, as well as I did, and it drove and still drives as if it were a new car! Very tight and responsive, and he could not be happier! … and then me. Last truck to say goodbye to, and I traded that in on our most recent purchase from Northwest, a 2002 Mini Cooper "S". I love this little car! … and I love driving past gas stations with no need to stop in to fill up! Andrew Menditch, Billy Collins, Mark Honkofsky and all the staff we have had the pleasure of dealing with here have always been up front with addressing our needs, very courteous and professional at every level of the sales AND service experiences… and having been a Service Manager at 2 dealerships in the past (early 1990's), the most important thing to me is being treated with respect and forthrightness…. and that's the way you are treated here. I would recommend shopping for new or used vehicles here without hesitation, and having your Honda serviced here is worth driving past another Honda dealership to do as well… More

My wife and I had been looking for an alternative to our 2006 Ridgeline for a few months and had been unable to find something that was within our budget until getting in touch with Northwest Honda. Before finding your dealership we visited around 3 with no results and even stopped by Carmax to see how much they would offer. Northwest Honda was the last local dealership we planned to visit before beginning to travel north of Baltimore and South of D.C. We found the Pilot that we were initially interested on autotrader.com and followed up with a personal visit to Northwest. We were only on the lot 30 seconds before being approached by Aaron Hawkins who showed us the Pilot we has previously viewed online and allowed us to take it for a test drive. After the drive we came back with a couple concerns and Aaron showed us the Pilot that we would eventually purchase. He then took us inside and laid out how much he would give us for our trade-in and how much the Pilot would cost. After this we were introduced to Matt Proutt who promptly dropped the asking price of our eventual purchase by over 1500 dollars and increasing the value of our trade-in by 400 dollars! Despite this drop, my wife and I still hadn't reached the amount that we wanted so we asked if we could think about it. Aaron and Matt were very understanding and told us that the offer stood until we made our decision. My wife and I did some more research that night and Sunday and called back on Monday, two days later, with a second offer for the 2007 Pilot EX-L. After talking to Matt for 10 minutes he told us that he would drop the price a further $400! My wife and I came in a couple hours later and completed the deal in under 2 hours. The entire staff was very professional and helped us through the entire process. We couldn't be happier and would recommend this dealership to everyone. Mr. Walker was nothing but professional, courteous and made what could be a nerve racking experience very comfortable. Since my first purchase with Northwest Honda in 2010 dealing with Max Cho, I have always been pleased with the customer service excellence I’ve received at Northwest Honda Dealership. And now more recently, these gentlemen from, Gerald Walker, Max Cho and Bert Cho’s professionalism and ability to get me the car I desired - they searched until they found the exact car I wanted - and their aim to please exceeded my expectations. They are like old friends vs. that car dealer sales pitch that is such a turn off. Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. I bought a car from this dealership 1.5 months ago and it has not been a smooth experience. The dealership delayed my title and registeration process too much (its still not done). Moreover once the sales was over, nobody picks up the phone or return calls. The customer service is absolutely appalling. I got a good impression of this dealership mainly because of the ratings on this site but now I highly doubt it. I will never recommend this dealership in fact I'll actively not recommend this dealership. The biggest reason why I give the poorest of ratings is because of their lack of communication and utterly poor customer service. More

There is special THANKS and honorable mention to corporate Honda America and to corporate customer service rep =Shawn and La Shaunda and case manager Gene! (apologies for misspells) Here's the deal.....Honda Accord 2006 (purchased 4 months ago) transmission fails during rush hour traffic on the interstate/beltway. In less than one week Honda corporate along with NW Honda service department effortlessly coordinated the assistance we needed with the transmission repair. The service communication between corporate and the service manager Mike Thompson was amazing and the car authorization for pickup communication between Matthew Proutt (used cars) and the NW Honda service department staff was impressive. WHY???? Because their customer service communication was extended towards each other. Even one of the mechanics that walked pass me said 'Excuse me"....... Loved THAT part!!!! The Used Car Manager Matthew Proutt honored the repair efforts of Honda corporate and allowed our family to enjoy the blessing where 3 lives were spared on a day that could have had a very painful outcome for three families (Thank You JESUS!!!). To Mike Thompson our prayers are with you and your family!!!! Often times we give good and bad remarks prior to and post a potential purchase of a vehicle. (Our purchase was a good experience as well). However it is equally important to know how dealers service customers well beyond the purchase and are reliable for continued care after your purchase.
