The car was not brought around for me - I was told it was parked in a certain location (L-something)and how to get there. This was not a busy time of day for them and there were at least 6 employees hanging around the service area. So I go out to the side of the building and no car. I walk around with the key fob trying to find it in 90 degree heat. The place where it was parked was blocked off with cars down to 1 exit. And a Honda employee pulled up and blocked that one exit even though he saw me and 2 other cars heading to the 1 spot not blocked by other vehicles. Again, what is going on with this service dept? My first car was a Honda and I had it for 24 years. I loved that car. So anytime I need to buy a new car, Honda is my first stop. I want to like Honda. I am predisposed to like Honda. So get it together guys - bring the darn car around after service! I got stuck with a Toyota Camry and guess what - Toyota always brings it around even though it is a 2012 and I didn't buy it from them. More
Service checkup and oil change Was very pleased service received. I made an appointment and was received right on time and stayed while oil change and tire rotation and inspection was done. The staff were professional and curious . They performed all the tasks and informed me of the cost ( which was cheaper then a oil change company) and had me on my way in the space of about an hour and a couple minutes. I trust them and their work. And appreciate their hospitality. More
All Because I Didn't Reboot My Phone I kept thinking it was my car. I own a 2017 Honda Civic and wanted to know why my car was not linking with my cell phone. No operating Bluetooth on I kept thinking it was my car. I own a 2017 Honda Civic and wanted to know why my car was not linking with my cell phone. No operating Bluetooth on my 2-year-old car. How could this be happening and with the screen reading that my phone and car were linked together just fine? Yet and still, no matter how often I pressed that button on that dial to put through a call, nothing happened. What I did next, of course, was to visit my nearby Honda of Owings Mills Service Center. A service advisor and a technician both deleted and added my phone making sure the Bluetooth was on and all systems were "go." Still, nothing worked. Believing all was lost, the discussion between everyone soon turned to replacing my radio altogether since it was becoming more and more obvious (at the time) that the circuitry or electrical issue could neither be resolved nor fixed. But we were going to try again another day since the technicians with the ability, I was told, to really troubleshoot and probably fix whatever it was were not there on the day of my visit. Just my luck, right? I was okay with returning since I figured I didn't have to pay for a new radio, which was fully covered under my new car warranty. I returned a couple of days later, and what was revealed left me utterly speechless. The service manager, Shinork Ozkan, who happened to notice me still sitting in my car in the service lane for longer than what was probably normal without being assisted, left his office and walked over to ask if I needed help. A really nice and personable guy I might add (like Richard, Rick, Gary, and so many others). I explained to Shinork what was going on and what had happened, repeatedly, two days prior in an attempt to fix the problem but to no avail. He checked my phone to make sure everything was linked properly, which it was. And being perplexed as everyone else who had attempted to understand what was going on, he called out to Daniel Funk, also a service manager. Just where was he on my initial visit? God knew but saved him for the right day, which was today. Daniel entered my car and began tackling the problem as any technological wizard would, which was without hesitation and with great confidence in his troubleshooting ability. He knew instantly what was wrong. He first linked his phone instead of mine. Did it work? Yes, it did. Okay, it was becoming clear he was gifted, but I shouldn't have been too surprised. Next, he asked what no one else thought to ask, not the first, second, third, or fourth individual, but that's okay, and God bless them for trying. He asked if I turned of my phone ever. I told him that lately I had not and was also keeping it charged too long as well. Daniel, my saving grace (unsurprisingly) said that I should turn it off at least once or twice a week, you know, to reboot it, get a fresh signal, the things you do when you have a computer like the one inside your phone. With that said, he turned my phone off, reconnected the Bluetooth, and all was well again. I drove away happy and loving my car as much and maybe more. I'm so grateful that Shinork walked over to me and that he called for Daniel who saved me from the lions ravaging my heart and mind when no one could figure out what was wrong, no one, that is, but him. Did I say he was also kind? Well , he is, and that was the icing on the cake for sure. Yes, we all have a story to tell, and this one was one I'll never forget. Thank you to everyone involved for a lesson well-learned and a gift well-received. Patricia Y. More

Used Car Purchase of Civic was excellent! - Ask for Russell! After researching the 2015/2016 Civics and finding Owings Mills Honda to have my ideal used car in stock, I went to the dealership to begin the car bu After researching the 2015/2016 Civics and finding Owings Mills Honda to have my ideal used car in stock, I went to the dealership to begin the car buying process. Russell Rose, a Sales Consultant at the used car dealership, greeted me immediately and offered a test drive without any pressure to buy (in other words he is a non typical Sales Consultant). With my decision made to buy the car, Russell walked me through the entire process in as little time as possible while also ensuring I received all the proper documentation and items with the used car. He stayed late after his shift was over (it was actually past closing time) to make sure my car was clean and prepared as if it was new. Unlike other car dealerships, Honda of Owings Mills website accurately showed in stock used cars, which I appreciated. And, more importantly, their Sales Consultant was an excellent no-pressure salesman with knowledge of the vehicle and the process. I definitely recommend asking for Russell Rose if you are looking for a used car at Honda of Owings Mills. More
Question Integrity A/C not working 2 weeks ago. Set up appointment to have it checked. Paid for diagnostic test. Service agent said the condenser fan motor needed to be A/C not working 2 weeks ago. Set up appointment to have it checked. Paid for diagnostic test. Service agent said the condenser fan motor needed to be replaced ($900) & low on Freon. I didn't have the money to pay for a condenser so I only had the Freon increased. Checked with Honda dealer 30 minutes away who was only charging $600. Another auto shop was charging $300, so I went with the auto shop. Still had the same problem with air not blowing out cold. So I went back to Honda Owings Mills today to see what the problem is. Today they perform another diagnostic test and now they say the compressor ($1400) needs to be replaced. When I speak to both the service agent & manager their statement is that it is hard to diagnose the real problem. Today I am looking at youtube videos about mechanics testing a/c units and they are showing how you can find out the real problem without making a customer put out a lot of money. I am thinking who should know a honda better than a honda dealer but now I feel like they are taking advantage of a 2 time honda car owner. I will not go back to that dealership. I am glad RRR automotive doesn't own all of the honda dealerships in my vicinity. More
Bait and switch Horrible. They quoted me a price then, after driving an hour to get there, the manager (what an xxxxxxx) said that a mistake was made. Thousands mor Horrible. They quoted me a price then, after driving an hour to get there, the manager (what an xxxxxxx) said that a mistake was made. Thousands more than the original quote. They lied to get me there and then wanted to change the price. So insulting. As if I was so desperate I’d simply go along. I’d rather walk every where then buy a car from these cheaters and liars. Brand NEW TYPE R ISSUES Honda of Owings Mills screwed me over with the brand new Civic Type R purchase. Below are the details which I have posted on Google Reviews. I am sen Honda of Owings Mills screwed me over with the brand new Civic Type R purchase. Below are the details which I have posted on Google Reviews. I am sending out a mass email to my acquaintances in Owings Mills and Reisterstown area to refrain to come to this dealership going forward. POST 2 - April 18th, 2019 ISSUE 1 - Swirl marks are still visible - Send me the service record on what was done to the car. ISSUE 2 - Resolved. Thank you. ISSUE 3 - Work in progress. Just arrived in Texas, will send out an updated address and the mat will be shipped per the dealership. ISSUE 4 - Brakes are squeaky, it was told to get it fixed and are still the same. ISSUE 5: Wheel is scratched, not acceptable at all. I am done waisting my time. Need to talk to the owner please. I do not have time to deal with this, I have a very busy work schedule and have spent good amount of time dealing with this dealership. ************************************************************************ POST 1 - April 10th Bought a brand new Civic Type R from HONDA of OWINGS MILLS on 4/1 and having non-stop issues since I got the car. It’s annoying to have to deal with issues on a brand new car, it should be crisp and ready to go. I am a repeat customer to this dealership and have been coming here to buy and service my Honda’s for years but this experience has swayed me away completely. In fact, I have referred family and friends to this dealership but will inform them about my experience and negligence I have seen this time around. ISSUE 1 - Car had deep scratches when I bought it. Team agreed to fix it once identified. Firstly, I shouldn’t identify the clear sighted scratches, it should have been pointed out to me when the car was being readied OR it should have been fixed for me not to notify. Anyway, I took the car back to have the scratches taken care off, team fixed the scratches BUT now there are swirl marks all over the car. Its ABSOLUTE non-sense to BUY a brand new car and have swirl marks everywhere, I wash my cars by hand and was told that this is how the black color works… PLEASE!! Now, after discussion, team agreed to take a look again and figure out the solution. Bottom line, I am moving out of Maryland coming Monday (4/15), I have a lot on my plate and now I have been told to drop off the car again. I DO NOT have time and that’s the reason I always buy brand new cars so I don’t have to deal with the maintenance shenanigans – This is absolutely INSANE. I can’t live with this car like this, spent too much money and having a disoriented product is an extreme disappointment, this car should be spotless – it’s a freaking Type R. Dealership MUST take this car back and fully refund my money and get me back my traded in car – I am done and don’t have time to deal with maintenance nightmares. ISSUE 2 - Tire pressure light keeps coming back on every day and I have to pretty much calibrate TPMS every day - it’s annoying and I am not sure what the issue is. Took it in and the tires pressure was twice to what it should have been, they corrected the tire pressure and was told that all is well. Guess what, the light is back on, not sure what’s going on. I am honestly starting to think they have sold me a freaking LEMON. ISSUE 3 - I bought the car over a phone because I TRUSTED the dealership due to our long relationship. I didn’t even drive the CAR before I bought it, relationship matters and with relationship comes the responsibility and due-diligence to serve the customer at BEST. Anyway, I was promised to receive ALL WEATHER MATS for the car including the trunk. The mats were not in the car when I drove off, I was excited to get a TYPE R and didn’t notice. I texted back requesting for MATS and I was told to give 10 stars rating and the mats will be given with the paint fix in my next visit. I agreed and completed my survey. GUESS WHAT, trunk mat is not INCLUDED now. I have text messages to prove all of this.. BUT, bottom line, I was promised something and it should have been there w/o clarifications/demands/back-and-forth. Hate to do this but I want others to know to make sure they test everything before they step-out of this dealership. Starting to think that RELATIONSHIP doesn’t matter in today’s world and age. Great Experience With A Great Young Salesman - Sean Brunson On January 16, 2019 I called Honda of Owings Mills to inquire about a used vehicle that I was interested in and was prepared to purchase. Salesman Sea On January 16, 2019 I called Honda of Owings Mills to inquire about a used vehicle that I was interested in and was prepared to purchase. Salesman Sean Brunson answered the phone. We had a brief discussion about the vehicle over the phone and I told him that I wanted to talk about the price over the phone, before I arrived at the Dealership. I do not like going back and forth in person with Car Salesmen about the final price of a vehicle. Mr. Brunson assured me that if I just come on in and test drive the vehicle, that he would make sure that the deal is completed and that I am a Very Happy customer. There was something in his voice that I could tell that he was very sincere with that comment. I arrived at the Dealership shortly thereafter. When I arrived at the Dealership, I was surprised learn that Mr. Brunson was only 21 years old. I have been purchasing vehicles for 40 years. My experience with Sean Brunson was the most pleasant vehicle purchasing experience that I have ever had. I explained to Mr. Brunson that I had already had Financing pre-arranged for the vehicle, and that I didn't want any extras added to the vehicle. I made him a very reasonalble offer and he accepted it. Throughout the process, I felt that Sean Brunson was being very respectful of me as a customer without playing any games. Sean Brunson promised me that he would "make sure that the deal was completed and make me a Very Happy customer. He delivered on both. Anyone looking for a used Honda, or any other used vehicle, Sean Brunson is the man to see. He is a man of his word. Thanks, Robert Young More
