My family has bought 3 cars from the dealership for the past 20 years and always satisfied with services, However, my past B123 on 12/04/25 was very unpleasant, I dealt with Jay, and I had expired coupon, past 20 years and always satisfied with services, However, my past B123 on 12/04/25 was very unpleasant, I dealt with Jay, and I had expired coupon, he said he will honor it and mentioned my car needs B7 service and run my charges as 402.00 plus taxes. After the service the cashier run my charges to 535.00. I asked why but I could not find Jay to clarify, so I paid. In the parking lot I meet Jay and asked why I had extra charges, he said he did not include parts and that was just estimated amount. For the last so many years of service, I knew what I was paying ahead before my car was serviced. I think Jay tactics is unprofessional and Honda needs to address it. More
To say that my previous and regrettable experience due to an unfortunate, as well as troubling, oversight was made practically forgettable and almost as if it never happened would be a clear understatement w an unfortunate, as well as troubling, oversight was made practically forgettable and almost as if it never happened would be a clear understatement when compared with the remarkable level of teamwork demonstrated by my team of experts (Yes, all for me!!!)) when I arrived this morning at the Honda of Owings Mills Service Dept. for completion of maintenance service on my 2017 Honda Fit (manual transmission) vehicle. What a phenomenal show of excellence to thoroughly convince me that any past errors were certainly not the norm and would certainly be ruled out once my service on this day, 12/3/25, was completed. All who participated in fixing that error, including the many smiles and warmth I was given, altogether showing me caring, understanding, compassion, dedication, and commitment to ensuring I would be completely satisfied when all that had been overlooked was completed. And, yes, I left feeling "over the moon" happy, never expecting how above and beyond my "Dream Team" would go to make sure that not only was the service completed extremely well but was also completed in a very timely and efficient manner. And with a complimentary wiper blade refill for my rear window and car wash, there's no guessing, ever, if I was jumping then for joy. In addition, and it must be said, the new Honda of Owings Mills Service Dept.'s manager, Anthony, is an absolute dream, who was immediately so incredibly understanding and so extremely empathetic once I met with him to describe what the unfortunate oversight pertaining to my just recently past visit entailed that I must note my impression and thoughts. He took action immediately to resolve that particular issue and any other matters needing special attention as well. I can't thank him enough for all he did, including giving my work order priority considering my earlier experience. In retrospect, I guess we can now look back and blame it on an extremely busy pre-holiday service schedule and, on that one day in particular, the pouring rain also. And, also, without the individuals named below, none of what happened, after my return for my maintenance service completion, would have happened in the wonderful manner in which it did. Due special shouts here are 1) Richard (Rick), and he did what he always does and that is greet you with a smile coming straight from his heart. He then listens very carefully followed by very politely asking what your vehicle needs and/or concerns are before finally beginning his thoughtful and systematic process of getting you, the vehicle owner, checked in prior to speaking to your service advisor. 2) Matthew, my now new service advisor was/is the epitome of what a service advisor should emulate each day and with each new person arriving for service. He most surely took over the realm and my dream along with it and made it all come true. I couldn't have asked for a more genuinely kind, professional, smart, and, seemingly perfect, service advisor. Truly was I blessed for having him take things over. Everything that wasn't done, he did without so much as one sigh or a blink of an eye even. It was all done with such ease and with a smile and spark in his eyes letting you know he's not falling asleep (with his eyes open) and will get the job done before you begin to question -- Is it really going to go better this time? Oh, yes, he's the real deal. I even asked Matt if I could touch him simply to see if he was, in fact, a real person. Yes, he's a real person, a real amazing person and is completely dedicated to making your vehicle repair dreams come true. 3) My thanks to Victor, too, for his input and for his assistance offered today. I really appreciated his interest in ensuring I would be helped to fullest extent possible. Now, when visiting Honda of Owings Mills Service Dept., I know exactly who makes up my Dream Team and that they will be there to make sure the "dream" works. More
