He was patient and knowle I have had two very positive experiences at Honda of Princeton. The first was to buy my car. Dealing with Gary was a breeze. He was patient and knowledgeable about both the Civic, which was my original interest, and the Accord, which was the car I ultimately purchased. I felt I got a fair deal for my trade in and a great price for my car. Redmond, the gentleman who helped me with my financing explained all of the options I had available and we decided on the right options for me. My second experience was only a month later, when I had a problem with one of my tires. Although I had just 700 miles on the car I had a flat tire. When we inflated it to check for a leak or puncture we noticed the side of the tire bubbled. I immediately called Gary. He told me to come right in. When I did he took me to Dan, who then had my car inspected.. Upon inspection it was decided that there was a defect in the tire. They promptly replaced my tire at no cost to me. All within an hour and a half. I even got a gift certificate for a free car wash for my trouble! While I was waiting I noticed a young lady named Wendy who meticulously kept after the waiting area for service. She constantly rotated the goodies (bagels and then later some cookies and brownies) for freshness and tidied up the coffee area. She did that at least 4 times (or more) for the hour and a half that I waited. All in all I can say that my experiences here are unlike any other dealership I have visited. Thanks Honda of Princeton! Horrendous experience As a repeat customer who has given Honda a tremendous amount of business over the years, I would have expected a certain level of professionalism from As a repeat customer who has given Honda a tremendous amount of business over the years, I would have expected a certain level of professionalism from the dealership. I did not expect to wait 1 hour and 15 to be processed by financing to finalize signing for the vehicle. I also did not expect the lack of PR skills by the manager working that day, Joe. Not once did he come to apologize for the wait time. Instead, his exact words when we brought up the wait time were "this is what happens when you come on a Saturday, at least you only have to do this ever couple of years". Really? Even then we did not get the slightest bit of empathy for the wait. I would expect that kind of response from a government agency, but not from Honda. Hey Joe, I did not realize that buying a Honda is something I "had" to do. Joe did not show the slightest concern for his customers. I do not know if the lack of people in financial is also Joe's fault, but I do know that this behavior is his own doing. His behavior will most certainly be reflected in my Honda survey. Clearly, you do not need to possess any real skills to become a manager at this dealership. And as long as Joe is working here, I will be taking my business elsewhere. More

He took his whole day from about 11-5pm just to help me out and make sure i made the right decision! I am so beyond thrilled that I had the pleasure to work with Jalil, he was not pushy at all and just wanted me to be happy overall... and I am so happy with my decision i LOVE my new car!!! I never want to step in this dealership. I bought my Odyssey in January 2013 from an extremely friendly salesperson. Problem started when I realized that for the rest of the ownership of this I bought my Odyssey in January 2013 from an extremely friendly salesperson. Problem started when I realized that for the rest of the ownership of this car I need to deal with Service people. In my second year this car needs a proper diagnostic and evaluation, however they were pushing towards a quick and unrelated excuses like your car won't come with any warranty on tires, batteries, brakes, and other parts. Basically if your car will stalled with engine seized or transmission failure then yes you may be covered. Tires worn fast, brakes worn fast within a year, battery leaked. Last time I put my concern to the Service Director and he was one of the nastiest person in front of his service team giving very good example of BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Just today, I went with complaint of the car needs more power to run on a smooth road, I suspect that my car should be in the recall of transmission of April 2013 or Engine problem of August 2013. I called Honda America and registered my concerns about owning such a car with such a service. More

He showed me numerous makes and models, explaining all of the various nuanced differences in detail, and took the time to bring out each car and have me test drive it to make sure that the model I chose was the right one for me. He worked diligently with management to come up with a price that was comparable with what I was able to pay for the car, and even matched more competitive quotes I had researched, because he genuinely cares for his customers and wants to make sure that they are satisfied with their purchase from him. In all, Jalil's patience, professionalism, and genuine interest in helping customers get what they need helped to give me a very pleasant experience purchasing a new car from Honda of Princeton!
