The worst Honda dealership in the country. Unprofessional and dishonest. Honda of Resda asked me to sign the lease contract and start paying for the lease before delivering the vehicle. This Unprofessional and dishonest. Honda of Resda asked me to sign the lease contract and start paying for the lease before delivering the vehicle. This is after running my credit report and multiple delays on the ETA of the vehicle. Bunch of crooks. Don't have them run your credit report. Not to be trusted! Take your business elsewhere. More
Unclear Finance Process, Missing Key Card, and Poor Follow-Up After Lease, Zero customer service or transparency. I leased a 2025 Honda Prologue from Honda of Reseda on Saturday. The salespeople, R Follow-Up After Lease, Zero customer service or transparency. I leased a 2025 Honda Prologue from Honda of Reseda on Saturday. The salespeople, Rihana and Federico, were helpful and professional, but my experience with the finance department and follow-up after the lease has been extremely disappointing. During the finance signing, I was rushed through the paperwork late in the evening. I wasn’t given time to review the contract or ask questions, and there were issues with the signing equipment that added to the confusion. Without any real explanation, the finance manager added a $49/month Honda Care maintenance plan. When I asked about it, he said it was necessary for air filters and tire rotations even though this is an EV and the sales team had told me it has minimal maintenance needs. After the lease, I called another Honda dealership to verify maintenance costs and was told a tire rotation is around $40. This raised even more concern about why the warranty was pushed so aggressively. When I returned to the dealership the next day (Sunday) to ask questions, the finance manager dismissed me and said I “wouldn’t understand the numbers unless I wanted to be a finance manager.” He also disregarded my question about alternate coverage options that my friend received at another dealership. When I followed up with the sales team, they referred me to the service department to explain the warranty. Then the service department (Gil) told me I don’t have a service plan on file—and deferred me back to finance. This back-and-forth has been frustrating. Instead of clearly answering my questions, each department keeps redirecting me somewhere else. There’s no organization or accountability, and it feels like I’m being given the runaround. In addition to all this, I noticed the key card for the vehicle was missing when I got home. I reported it right away and was told the delivery team would get back to me, but no one has followed up. I sent a detailed email to the General Manager (Mike Patel) on Monday and called to confirm it was received. I was told by Sales Manager Marlon that Mr. Patel was in meetings all day and that he would help, but I have not received any written response from either of them. At this point, I would also like to be provided with a full list of what the vehicle was supposed to come with (key cards, charging cables, floor mats, accessories, etc.) to avoid any disputes or charges when returning the car at the end of the lease term. The overall lack of transparency and disorganization is really disappointing, especially after signing a lease for a $50,000+ vehicle. I’m still hoping this can be resolved, but I wanted to share my experience so other customers know to ask detailed questions, take their time reviewing all paperwork, and make sure everything is accounted for before leaving the dealership. My experience was horrible. This review is for Dany and Reynaldo specifically. I felt as soon as they joined in the negotiation process, everything went downhill. Came in only f This review is for Dany and Reynaldo specifically. I felt as soon as they joined in the negotiation process, everything went downhill. Came in only for a test drive on two Honda Civic models. After the test drive, we decided we wanted the sport touring hatchback. Some back and forth on the price, but we didn't come to an agreement. I left, but 30 mins later, Dany texts me saying $31,500 OTD for the touring. Now, at first, this seemed to good to be true (in the end it was). So I double checked with not only Dany but also the initial salesperson (he was the only helpful person) and they both confirmed $31.5K OTD for the sport touring hatchback. Great, we both agreed that I would come back and sign the papers in a couple days. I come back two days later and Dany is nowhere to be found. I get this new sales manager, Reynaldo. Right off the bat, he tells us there is a color upcharge on the car we wanted. He says $750, when it clearly shows on the window sticker the color charge is $455 and we ALREADY said $31.5k OTD over texts prior to coming in. Asks him to explain why the charge is $750, couldn't explain. Doesn't matter, thought we were getting a great deal anyway. We waited TWO hours at the dealership, just for Reynaldo to tell us they can't do $31.5k on the car we wanted. This is DESPITE, multiple confirmations over texts confirming THEY were OFFERING 31.5k for the sport hatchback touring. Complete waste of time. Never will deal with them again. P.S: they also ran our credit prior to us coming in, which negatively affected our credit score. More
