I had explained we were not able to come in until the weekend and he kept in contact answering any questions I had and reviewing the details of the trade I had also. I had explained we had spent the past 5 Saturdays looking at vehicles to purchase and to say the least it had been very unpleasant--either due to not finding the right vehicle or more often not having found the right dealership/salesperson. Michael took the time through many e mails, texts and phone calls to ensure all of our concerns and questions were answered.We stopped by Wilde Saturday met with Michael and quickly had our transaction underway. Michael was very professional, personable, honest and was genuinely concerned with meeting our needs and not for just "the sale of a car" as we have experienced many times.We have purchased many vehicles over the past 30 years and only have had 2 good experiences until now!! Everyone at Wilde was kind and helpful and we were very fortunate to have Michael as our salesperson. But from the second I was introduced to Larry Briden by Mark in Service, I knew I was going to walk out with a new car!!! Larry is an amazing salesman (and person)! He is low pressure, genuine, personable, and I felt like I was car shopping with a friend versus being sold a car from him. Our time together was so low pressure, casual and easy going. The process was quick, painless, and enjoyable to say the least!!! If I had the money, I would buy another this week from him and Wilde Honda!!! This is our 3rd. car we have purchased through Wilde Honda of Sarasota and each time we have enjoyed the Yet another fantastic car buying experience! This is our 3rd. car we have purchased through Wilde Honda of Sarasota and each time we have enjoyed the process. The people are friendly and knowledgeable and above all 'care more about you and your needs than trying to sell you a vehicle'. I know that statement is probably hard to believe, but it has been proven to be true in our humble option. The Jeannie/David sales team were caring, professional and attentive to our every need from finding the right car at the desired price to ensuring the process ran smoothly through purchasing and IT assistance before departing with our vehicle. Greg helped us with financing and ensured that we obtained the best interest rate possible and thoroughly explained the relative merits of warranty choice. RG Stathas (General Sales Manager) oversaw the entire process and took time out of his day to ensure we left the dealership 100% happy! We now own an Odyssey, CRV & a Civic and can truly be considered a Honda family! Thank you to all at Wilde Honda Sarasota for caring about our family!!! Our third purchase from Wilde Honda in 10 months. In April 2014, on the advice of a business acquaintance, I called Jeannie Stathas and her husband, R.G., when I was looking to turn in my lease early In April 2014, on the advice of a business acquaintance, I called Jeannie Stathas and her husband, R.G., when I was looking to turn in my lease early on my 2012 Civic Si and lease a 2014 CR-V. The process was so incredibly easy and the vehicle was delivered at my then office in Delray Beach. In August 2014, after making the mistake of nearly purchasing a 2014 Honda Accord LX at an unnamed Honda dealer near my wife's office in Ft. Lauderdale, I traded in my wife's 2006 Corolla and made one of the best decisions of my life by purchasing my wife a new 2014 Honda Accord LX from Jeannie Stathas. This time we drove to Sarasota to pick up the vehicle and Jeannie, just like with my purchase a few months earlier, made the process so incredibly easy. When we walked into the showroom, Jeannie put my wife, who was a little nervous about purchasing a vehicle from a dealer 200 miles way, at ease and made her feel like family. Fast forward about 6 months later - my wife is driving home from work in the westbound lane when a car in the eastbound lane is struck at a high rate of speed by a truck, causing the car to go over the median, hit a tree, and then slam directly into my wife's Accord's driver's side door and wheel well. My wife was in the wrong place at the wrong time. While my wife sustained 2 herniated discs and 4 bulging discs from the accident, she very well could have been killed had she been driving her 2006 Corolla. We credit Honda engineering with saving her life. After I went to inspect the car the next day at the tow yard and filed claims with the various insurance companies (the driver who caused the accident had a minimum insurance policy), I called Jeannie Stathas. Jeannie, who took the time to call me on a Saturday morning, was extremely helpful and gave me some excellent advice when it came to negotiating for a total loss with my insurance company. This time it was a no-brainer that, if we decided to purchase another Accord, we would purchase the vehicle from Jeannie Stathas at Wilde Honda. When we found out a week later that the insurance company was totaling out the 2014 Accord, we briefly considered a competitor's model. However, since the Accord saved my wife's life and because of my relationship with Jeannie, R.G., and the rest of the staff at Wilde Honda, there would have had to have been a significant savings for me not to purchase another Accord from Jeannie Stathas at Wilde Honda. In fact, a few days after visiting another Asian manufacturer's dealership, I received a call from the dealer's General Manger. I explained to the General Manager that the Accord saved my wife's life, that I am extremely loyal to Wilde Honda, and that the monthly payment for his vehicle would have to be significantly lower for me to consider something other than a Honda Accord. The General Manager then explained to me that he was fairly new to the dealer and that he would quit his job if he could not sell me a new vehicle. The General Manager tried every angle, even trying to play on my male ego, to get my wife and I back in his showroom. Needless to say the General Manager did not sell us a vehicle. I am not sure, however, if he followed through on his promise to quit his job. When we found out that our insurance company had issued the checks and that we only had a few days to purchase a new vehicle, I called Jeannie who quickly located the exact vehicle (we decided to go with the EX-L for the added safety features) we wanted. After explaining to Jeannie what we were looking to pay for the Accord EX-L (I checked a couple local Honda dealers and had an idea of what the vehicle would cost), Jeannie and her husband, R.G., took the time to compare Honda's financing options with that of other financial institutions and came up with a few different options for us to consider. When we arrived at Wilde Honda, Jeannie gave my wife a hug and said to her, "I am so glad that you're alright, let me show you your new car." It's this level of personal attention that keeps me coming back to Jeannie Stathas at Wilde Honda. Despite the fact that the showroom was extremely busy, Jeannie spent over an hour explaining to us how to use all of the features on the Accord EX-L. When I called my insurance company to add the new Accord on our insurance policy, Jeannie let me use her office. The level of personal attention that Jeannie gives her clients is second-to-none and is what one would expect when purchasing a Lexus LS460, a BMW 7-series, or a S-class Mercedes, not a Honda Accord. When we were in the showroom with Jeannie, one of her former clients came up to her and excitedly gave her a hug. I've been purchasing new vehicles for years and have never seen this much personal attention from a salesperson. Jeannie and R.G. Stathas will continue to get my business until they retire. When I started leasing Hondas a few years ago, I was hoping to find a dealer that I would feel comfortable continually doing business with since, unlike my wife, I like to get a new vehicle every 2-3 years. I feel fortunate to have found that dealership and am hoping that Jeannie and R.G. Stathas continue selling Hondas at Wilde Honda for years to come. More
