As we were looking at it Michael came up to us and we started the ugly process of buying a new (used car).First I must state that I am pushing 80 years of age and have never had any buying experience like this before. First and foremost his knowledge of questions that were posed to him,if he did not know he quickly stated that he did not know but would find out. His communication skills were outstanding. We took the MX-5 for a drive and found out my wife did not feel safe in it. I had no issues with it at all!!! We informed Michael and he was not upset or pushy at all. We wanted a convertible and he checked his inventory and found a Volvo C-70 T5. We took this one for a drive and Bingo, my wife and I both fell in love.We started negotiations to see what the numbers would be. First trip in to see Jay Alexander and we had a deal! Such a pleasure from what we were used to. the whole dealership was friendly and helpful,even Stephen Morris (the guy who takes your money) a real humanitarian,did it with such grace it did not even hurt!(Ha Ha) It was the best car buying experience I ever had. Three weeks later I flew to FL to pick up the car and upon arrival I recognized it parked out in front of their showroom. The car was incredible! Even better than described by Eduardo! Even though I had already committed to the deal, Eduardo mentioned that after the car sat on the lot for a couple of weeks they had trouble starting it - concerned that I may have difficulty on my 1200+ mile ride home, he and Wilde Honda decided to replace the battery entirely. So I drove the entire journey back home, starting with a full tank of gas and a new battery. It took me two days to get back home, but the car handled like a dream, silky smooth and ready to roll. In my lifetime, I've purchased about 20 different cars - my experience with Eduardo and Wilde Honda of Sarasota was perhaps the best purchasing experience I've ever had. I love the car and I would love to buy again from Wilde Honda - in a heartbeat, I'd do it all over again.
