Skeptical, my wife asked him specifically if he would be able to get us into a comparable vehicle, (Pilot Touring), for the same lease payment as we currently have. He promised he would be able to work it out because they had a large inventory of new Pilots, but were short on used vehicles. So we took him at his word and drove 20 miles to the Sarasota dealership when Honda of Venice is 2 miles from our house. We weren’t there 15 minutes when the finance manager broke the news that, with the trade-in, the new lease payment would be nearly double! Needless to say, after that bombshell, we were out of there. The worst part… no recognition of the inconvenience and waste of our time and they did not offer a single word of apology for the dishonesty. When our lease does expire in a year, our business will be going elsewhere. More

Old school sales tactics. Had a price from a car buying service, on Saturday was fine. Told the salesman would be back Monday to buy the car and made an appointment. On arrival was told the sales manager, Michael Cobb, could not accept that that deal and wanted several thousand dollars more. After 3.5 hours or back and forth he threw down a piece of paper with last and final deal written on it that was $200 more than the car buying service price, contingent on using his financing (we were going to pay cash). Am telling everyone not to use this dealership for these reasons. More
