Honda of Sarasota - Service Center

We were first time customers today, being from out of state, and needing routine service on our Passport. We were told it would take 1.5 hours (brake fluid, tire rotation, oil change..nothing special). state, and needing routine service on our Passport. Melissa, our service rep, was nice, but at no time did she provide any updates to us as to why there was a delay. This is poor customer service: keeping customers informed is a basic skill. She only did so when we asked when the vehicle would be ready. She did mention it was a master technician working on our vehicle. That's great, but perhaps she and he might estimate their time a bit better. At our Honda dealer in our home state, this has never happened. Generally the work is finished before the time they give us. If we need service again in the Sarasota area, we certainly will not be returning to Wilde Honda. More

I needed to pair my new phone to my car. I am not a tech person do I perceived this as a difficult task. Bev in service was great. Bev helped me out right away to get the Takata airbag recall and shift interlock recall on my 2004 Odyssey done the same day. I set an appointment the week prior (cant remember who i spoke with) and didn't end up in the system somehow so when I showed up with my van it was all from scratch. She arranged a ride for me with Ron in the shuttle so I could get to work on time. They performed repairs properly, cleared my SRS light that came on that day out of nowhere, and picked me back up at the end of my shift to get my van.
