Mel Pitts is a Lair 2/25/2020 I leased a Honda Accord on 8/31/2019 from Honda Of Toms River NJ. My salesman was the Mel Pitts the biggest liar, that I have ever met. It 2/25/2020 I leased a Honda Accord on 8/31/2019 from Honda Of Toms River NJ. My salesman was the Mel Pitts the biggest liar, that I have ever met. It was August 31 I went with my wife to pick up a Honda Accord while speaking with Mel Pitts about my insurance on the car that we were picking up. I wanted to make sure that he called my insurance to add my new vehicle. Mel Pitts told me & my wife yes Mr Bellucci you are insured I couldn't let you leave without having insurance on you new car. And the Manager agreed. So as my wife was signing the paper work I asked the Finance manager , did Mel Pitts add my insurance because I did not speak to my insurance co. As Mel Pitts was passing us I asked him again Mel did you call my insurance co and again he said Mr Bellucci you don't have to keep asking me I said that I added it to your policy. I asked Mel Pitts who did you speak to from my insurance co. His answer was I don't know , I asked him did you get there phone # he said no. I said to Mel Pitts let me see the insurance verification form that you filled out he said he does not have one. But once again Mel Pitts said that I am covered. So now in November my daughter gets in an accident so when I called my insurance co to report it they told me that no one from Honda of Toms River ever called from the dealer. So I am convinced that Mel Pitts is a Professional liar . Yes Mel Pitts the Liar. I have tried calling the dealer but they are also in a meeting or they will call me back. But I still have not gotten a call from Honda of Toms River. So please if any one is going to buy a car from Honda of Toms River forget about it. Go to a trustworthy dealer. More

Doug is extremely approachable and honest. I went car shopping at Honda Of Toms River to look for a new vehicle. I requested Doug who is proactive, and pressure free. The only mistake that I made was not getting it with Apple play. Other than that another exceptional experience. Had questions at financing about the contract Harot explained in more detail the difference in price. Went home still had questions and called Eric Sopko who answered my concerns. I may owe Doug my co pay.. More
