My recent visit to Toms River Honda I was met by Service advisor Dean Magnavita and explained to him the problem with my 2017 CRV, which was the drivers Seat belt was retracted and inoperable. Dean wa advisor Dean Magnavita and explained to him the problem with my 2017 CRV, which was the drivers Seat belt was retracted and inoperable. Dean was professional and provided me a ride back to my residence through Honda CAR SERVICE. The driver, Rick, was also very personable and professional. Shortly afterward I was advised by Dean that the part needed to be ordered. Since I needed my vehicle the Car service and Rick came back and picked me up for the return trip. When I got back to Honda I found out that due to the weekend the part would not be available for three days. I explained to Dean that without a seatbelt I felt driving was unsafe, illegal and that my wife and I were uncomfortable driving that car. Dean understood and without hesitation made a Honda courtesy car readily available to me. When I returned to pick up my vehicle I was told the work was 100% covered under the warranty. I want to thank Service Advisor Dean Magnavita, Rick the driver and the entire Honda service team for makIng this stressful event the most unexpected and pleasurable experiences I’ve ever had with service in my 50 years of driving. Thank you Honda of Tom’s River!!!! More
Service fixed the problem in a timely fashion, I guess due to the fact of similar vehicles with the same issue. Honda should have a recall on the engine.
