We bought a car at Honda of Westport this year, and while the experience of buying the car itself was fine, the process around it was awful and made for an all-time bad customer service experience: 1.) Th the experience of buying the car itself was fine, the process around it was awful and made for an all-time bad customer service experience: 1.) They told us to come back in 1 week for a state registration; we went back in a week, and they said it was nowhere near ready (the commute for us was 90 minutes each way) 2.) When we went back, they gave us the registration and all seemed well, until we subsequently reviewed the registration. In looking at that, the business registered it to the wrong address (wrong word in street name). 3.) The title then got sent to the wrong address based on the registration. The business refused to take accountability and instead blamed the DMV (at the time, we did not have in-state driver's licenses, so had no affiliation with the DMV outside of the business needing to register it). 3+ months later, we still don't have a title because the dealership never follows up to provide updates, tries to pin responsibility elsewhere, and is now trying to charge us for the duplicate title cost. On the note of costs, avoid this dealership at all costs. More
Last November, I leased a Honda HRV for my wife. We traded a Lexus GX470 and decided not to get anything as expensive as a Lexus again, as we enter our retirement years. While the buying expereince was generally positive. There was a small issue with the brakes. When my wife brought the car to be checked out, the service manager told her that she should expect little things like this since it wasn't a Lexus and that this car was really designed for young people starting out. I really could not believe my ears! Fast forward to last week when I wanted to trade-in my car for a Civic. The salesman and I had a handshake deal. He was going to be on vacation when I wanted to close the deal so I asked him for it in writing. After 3 days, I had to chase him down and all I received were vague answers and smart remarks. I also left two messages for the sales manager and never received a return call. My wife's lease is up in November 2027, I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP. More

Chatted with Chris Parris on the phone and he was just as real in person as he was on the phone. He showed me some cars, ran some numbers and applied zero pressure when it came to making a purchase. These Hondas are tremendous cars and Chris lets them speak for themselves. He gives you options and lets you make your decision. I take such issue with pushy sales people that want to think for you and spend for you. I can’t emphasize enough how much that can be a turn off. Chris is the opposite of that. He also drove couple of towns out of his way to come pick me up so that I could return my other car. Most people are just not doing that. The whole place has a calm, relaxed vibe. I ve purchased 2 cars from here in 4 months. Buy a car here. Look for Chris. No way you can go wrong! More
