Great Experience! We were looking for a car for our son. This would be his first car. We went to 3 dealerships. The first was a dealership in Milford. The second a dealership in Milford as well and lastly Honda of Westport. I was very turned off by the salesperson at the first dealership. I went in with very specific requirements. Price point, lease amount, and the amount we were thinking of putting down. I wanted a range of cars and or suggestions. It was like pulling teeth! He would not give me any numbers, not even a ballpark unless we sat down and ran the credit. I kept telling him not to worry about that just give me a safe range so we could narrow down our choices. Anyway, it was not possible according to him. I told my son that was not a good salesperson because he was not listening to anything I was saying. I did not want to be pressured and that's how I felt. The second dealership was a little better. The salesperson was quick to give me one car in the range I wanted. It did seem he was not that interested in selling a car once I told him the range. Then we went to see Darlene Miller at Honda of Westport. We walked in, sat down and I said exactly the same thing. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, gave me options and suggestions I had not thought of and made me feel very comfortable. While she was checking on something I looked at my son and said: “now do you see the difference between a good salesperson who listens and the other places we went?" So two things happened that day. My son bought his very first car and loves it and I finally got him to totally agree with me on something! I would also like to say that Darlene went out of her way to make sure she had all paperwork in hand from us to help speed up the process BEFORE we came in to sign the papers! We were very limited on time and that was a big help. A great experience dealing with Darlene and Honda of Westport! Thank You More

Westport followed up with me more promptly and with multiple people from both sales and marketing. George Scott, my sales rep, was amazing. I sensed he was honest from the outset and that is most important for me when buying anything. And because I felt I did my homework with regards to pricing, he from the very onset was in my opinion, fair in both the price he offered for the trade in and the price for the new car. Really glad I chose to do business with them. (This was our families 3rd Honda Odyssey and the 2nd we've purchased from Westport.) More

Just bought a Honda Pilot I was there to buy a new SUV, and I had one other brand in mind. I was trading in my old SUV. We brought along our toddler who was full of energy, a I was there to buy a new SUV, and I had one other brand in mind. I was trading in my old SUV. The sales team was not high pressure even though this was during the year end sale. We ended up getting a good deal, and then we left. We took some time to decide, got some coffee at a nearby coffee shop, and then decided on the car. Signing the paperwork was easy, and the person who helped me was low pressure. The whole experience was good. I never went to the other car dealer, as KBB and Edmunds (and others) said their SUV was the best in class. They gave me what I wanted for my trade in and in price incentives. More
