Charlo went above and beyond, but I'm still waiting I've been waiting for a warranty repair for months and I'm still waiting. My service adviser does what he can, but it seems his hands are tied. What’s the point of reservations? I recently had my oil changed at Honolulu Ford, as I had purchased the lifetime oil changes for my Ford Edge. I was able to make a reservation 3 weeks I recently had my oil changed at Honolulu Ford, as I had purchased the lifetime oil changes for my Ford Edge. I was able to make a reservation 3 weeks out so that I could work the minor service operation around my schedule. It came as large surprise to me when I checked in early that there were several people in front of me and that it would be a couple hours. This was confusing, and there was no explanation or answer given to my questions as to what purpose reservations have if there are several people still in front of me. You wouldn’t expect to wait that long if you had a scheduled appointment at a doctors office or business meeting. Same for restaurants. However, because I’ve come to expect the worst from Hawaii industriousness, it was not fully unexpected. They did a perfectly fine job at the menial job of performing an oil change, which is why my review isn’t 1-star. So I’ll give them credit for that. Unfortunately I’ll be coming back since I’ve already purchased the lifetime oil changes, but I will just have to show up when they open and hope for the best. More
