I have waited 6 hours, they did not know the steps to take regarding an older vehicle passenger side airbag recall, Stating I would have to pay for a new dashboard if they cracked it while replacing a take regarding an older vehicle passenger side airbag recall, Stating I would have to pay for a new dashboard if they cracked it while replacing a recalled airbag. I called GM and got the steps for the service department on the procedure on how to proceed on the airbag replacement so that all parties involved would know before hand on who would be responsible for replacing the dashboard.( take pictures of the dash with the customer also taking pictures. If there is a preexisting crack the customer would be responsible. If there is no preexisting crack the dealership and GM would be responsible to replace the dashboard). Also the service department didn’t fix my check engine light due to a small evap leak. The mechanic said that a hose on the evap system was not connected and they reconnected the hose.However the Check engine light is back on again. The service department or specifically the mechanic should have been professional and did an evap smoke test or even a evap test using the diagnostic tool to determine the source of the small evap leak.The mechanic said “it’s probably the charcoal canister” without doing the tests to diagnose the issue. I am very disappointed in the professionalism of the mechanic and team work of the service department. My check engine light is still on and Im going to have to have a test done to find the exact issue and have it fixe… More
Jennifer on the Service team made the unwelcome process of needing to get a vehicle back on the road a smooth process. She was efficient, communicative, and able to get my truck in to service the next day of needing to get a vehicle back on the road a smooth process. She was efficient, communicative, and able to get my truck in to service the next day vs. the app appointment I had for January 14th, a full month and a half later. The mechanics were able to diagnose the problem right away and they were even able to complete the 15000 service the same day. My only regret was I didn’t get to drive the loaner (EV Hummer) that was lined up because they were so efficient. Mahalo Jennifer and team for the great service! More
Carl sold me the car but never kept me up to date with my vehicle’s status while being fixed. He said he would but never did. Kala’s was so helpful getting my vehicle fixed asap and Johnny in service is awes vehicle’s status while being fixed. He said he would but never did. Too bad Johnny isn’t a salesperson I’d go to him and refer him to everyone. Carl didn’t know too much about the Mazda and didn’t keep his word and because of that I won’t refer anyone to him. Sorry.
