It is unfortunately that our shop was backed up and couldn't find out that the vehicle didn't meet our needs sooner. We do include a 3 month powertrain warranty with all used vehicle purchases so that if something major occurs in the first 90 days we would take care of it. Feel free to call us at the dealership and any of the sales managers would be happy to discuss this further and explain our inspection process that stops us from selling problem cars such as the one you were initially interested. Dear Kfscott, We are sorry for your experience and the wait due to the amount of deliveries we had the night you bought the vehicle. As for the repair at a different facility we explained that the pulsation should take care of itself, like it often does after driving for a little time. The owner even agreed to repair the vehicle at our facility free of charge if it didn't. Our team even put in writing and thoroughly explained it had to come back to our dealership to minimize our costs because of the deal that was worked out. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee another mechanics recommendation and therefore cannot pay for repairs done elsewhere after an agreement for a free repair here is reached. As previously stated, we were advised that the vehicle was not safe to drive over an hour back to the dealership with an improper break job and a cut in one of our tires. We stand strong that the dealership should have offered to cover even a portion of the service cost, or at the very least return our many phone calls to discuss the issue further. No one from the dealership returned any of our calls, even after multiple attempts to contact and finally getting Ford/Lincoln corporate involved. Anyone reading this, please note the only way to get the dealership’s attention seems to be leaving them a poor and honest review. Thanks for the response.
