Much better this time This time was much better, as far as customer service went. I was acknowledged immediately...Ppl gave me direction about what to do when I pulled in, This time was much better, as far as customer service went. I was acknowledged immediately...Ppl gave me direction about what to do when I pulled in, so I wasn't just sitting there like a moron. And they said they'd be right with me. My service lady said it would take 2 hours, and it did. She literally called me within minutes of the two hour mark! My ONLY complaint, which is more of a suggestion, is that I would've liked a general overall review of my service, afterwards. For example, I had an oil change with my warranty. I can't remember if that included a tire rotation, too... or, if there was anything wrong or if everything looked good. I'm assuming everything was cool since I got my keys back. So, the spiel might go like this (and this can be followed along on the print-out, too): "Vanessa, everything looked good today. So-n-so, your technician, performed your oil change, which included changing the filter (?) & filing it with such-and-such oil. Your tires looked good... plenty of tread, still; no bulging spots in the tires, either (or something to that effect). We rotated those for you. Your windshield washer fluid was low, so we topped that off, too. (Any other fluids you did should be mentioned, too). So-n-so didn't find any problems, so your Equinox has an excellent bill of health! You should be good to go until your next oil change is needed! Do you have any questions? Ok, thanks! See you next time!" My lady thanked me and was very personable-- so, absolutely no prob there. My mock spiel truly is necessary in taking you to that next level of being a superior service dept, I feel, because it would reassure me of what was done, and if everything is ok. That way, I can feel safe bc I'm an informed consumer... and the best part about that, is that my service dept was the one that informed me. It shows me that you're straight-forward, no shadi-ness, and you respect me enough to give me, at least, a little explanation/education of things. I believe that stellar customer service anticipates all of someone's needs before s/he ever has to ask. More
