In Sept 2025, I came to Hudson Nissan of Summerville for a regular oil change. I’ve been regularly coming to this dealership for my car maintenance needs. Kevin has been the rep that I have been dealing wit a regular oil change. I’ve been regularly coming to this dealership for my car maintenance needs. Kevin has been the rep that I have been dealing with. He scheduled my 2021 Rogue for its oil change. He also told me of a few other items that I would need to have scheduled upon my return from my trip to Atlanta but those would be things that weren’t urgent at the moment. Upon my return, I started experiencing the car having a minor shake when I stated it. I ended up coming back to the dealership on October 1 because the check engine light came on. They performed diagnostic. On October 2 stating xxxxx. The car remained with Nissan for repairs that totaled xxxxx. I was transferred over to Tyrone for service car (I didn’t understand why). On Friday, Dec 5, I was driving home in the evening and the car went into limp mode while I was on the highway. I had the car towed to Nissan for them to look at. Derrick called me on Saturday, December 6 to explain that they would need to do a further diagnostic on the car. This of course would need to also take place on Monday. The initial diagnostic total 189 but an additional diagnostic at 460 had uncovered more work. At this point, Derrick suggested that my car was an older car and had I began considering something newer. My wife and I told him and the appraiser that we weren’t ready for that type of commitment at the moment and that the car wasn’t old. At this time, Tyrone was on vacation. Always when I come in, When Gwendolyn is there and also with other staff members, they have been attentive, always does the job right and 100% professional and very involved thru the whole process of the s with other staff members, they have been attentive, always does the job right and 100% professional and very involved thru the whole process of the service being done with your car.
