I had made an appointment and let them know which car I was interested in. They had the cars washed and ready for me to look at and test drive. Everything was extremely easy and painless. Joe made sure that I was comfortable and happy with the entire experience. He answered all of my questions and made sure that I was completely satisfied with my choice. He was great and I never felt pressured at all! They also made trading in my car very easy and quick, even though I had a paperwork nightmare with my title and car loan. I received a great price on a brand new White CX-5 with the touring package. I could not be happier with my car and my whole experience at HB Mazda. Everyone that I encountered there was super friendly and extremely helpful! Greg showed me how to use all of the technology and features that my car came with and made it really easy to learn. I would highly recommend going to HB Mazda and working with Joe Rosales! It was the best car experience that I've ever had! More
Issue fixed after mistreated customer with attitude I have an update on the prior review that i was not happy about. The owner John Patterson have reached out to me and have assigned Tony, the general manager to help us resolved the issue we had yesterday. it turns out that it's not Huntington Beach Mazda fault but it's rather just one of the Manager (Bob) that was onsite yesterday that was giving us a "don't care" attitude without able to resolve anything related to our concern. We appreciate the owner and General Manager of Huntington Beach Mazda for understanding the issue and for the effort of correcting the issue. Today deal was closed and handled personally by the General Manager Tony and should be an example for all others managers to follow. Thank you Mr Peterson and Tony for providing us a good sales experience. We are glad that the Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Westminster and Garden Grove still have a nice Mazda dealer for us to buy and service Mazda car. We are recommending Huntington Beach Mazda again and change yesterday bad experience rating back to the way it should be. PREVIOUS REVIEW UNPROFESSIONAL, UNTRUTHFUL. . I live in Fountain Valley and bought a car from them in May 2019. The day i closed the deal, their computer was down for 4 hours. I was there at 10AM and the paperwork was not done until 3PM. Last week, trying to support the local dealer in the Fountain Valley - Huntington Beach area, i forget about the May transaction and took my brother there to buy another car. All the prices were all negotiated ahead and finally my brother came on Saturday to close the deal. But there was not enough finance manager to handle the work so he needs to wait at least 3 hours for his turn. My brother family left and was promised to have his paperwork 1st thing in the morning on Sunday. Saturday night, he received a call notifying his car that he was going to buy was sold to another customer. They then called him back later on Sunday and said they found another car but he already made plan and was unable to come on Sunday. He told them he will come today, Monday 9/23 evening, and ask them to be ready. Today he left work early , skipped dinner took his whole family to the dealer, i was joining them as well, to find out that current manager BOB could not authorize the deal because Tony, another manager, is not here to approve. We ask them to call Tony and was refused. What a lame excuse, a bunch of unprofessional, untruthful, group of people. I am not sure why the owner even tolerates this kind of behavior and it looks like they don't have any type of customer oriented training (yet the ad did say "it's the people" when it should really says "it's my unprofessional people". If you can't honor your deal that you promised by mistake, just tell the customer and stop wasting their time. Nothing is worse for a customer is to leave work early, skip dinner and drag his wife and a 10 years old boy and 7 years old daughter to the car dealer to have such kind of treatment. You are not the only Mazda dealer in Orange county, I know Browning Mazda, South Bay Mazda, I know Victor from Mazda of Orange, I know Diego, A J, Tom (Manager) from Capistrano Mazda and we surely don't need to buy a Mazda from your dealer. We will notify our friends in all the Asian community groups (especially Vietnamese) to let them know about the experience we received today. We will also notify Mazda of America about the type of dealer that they have in their network that may not give good reputation to the Mazda brand. We also strongly recommend the owner to review and keep an eye closely on the customer satisfaction process that is being executed at Huntington Beach Mazda. More

I test drove a couple other cars I was interested in, but decided on the CX-5. I got in touch with Joe and told him I was interested and what my concerns were about financing. He listened and gave me some good options. I went with the lease deal and he was able to get me the exact make, model, trim, options and color I wanted for a great price and monthly payment. The paperwork process was easy and Louis explained everything. When the paperwork was complete Greg took me to my car and went over all of the features, and showed me how to use them! Wow, what a great team! And best of all I didn't feel rushed or pressured. Overall, a great lease experience and I highly recommend going here for your next car. More

The salesman we did meet, Edmond Lecaros, was very helpful and let me test drive a couple of cars even though I told him I wasn’t buying for a while due to the remaining lease left on my current car. After that day Ed kept in touch and I stopped back by a few times to check out a couple of cars until I was ready to buy. Today we went to buy our car and everyone was very helpful. Just as importantly, no one was pushy at all. From the salesman to the sales manager this has been hands down the best car buying experience ever. Thanks very much to HB Mazda. More
