My car had recently been rear ended and as a result, I was looking to purchase a new car. We had had the damaged car assessed by the insurance and were well aware of what it would be worth as a trade in/ was looking to purchase a new car. My husband and I were looking to purchase a cross over vehicle and, since my husband already owned a Honda and was happy with it, we were seriously thinking of buying the Honda CR-V. The salesperson with whom I spoke on the phone was quite friendly and very helpful. That's where the customer service ended. When we arrived at Huntington Honda, we were passed off to a saleswoman named Ivy Feinsilver. From the start Ivy seemed to be annoyed to have to work with us, as if we had interrupted her break or something. She was going to have my car looked at by their service people while we took the CR-V out for a test drive. She made a few comments as to the condition of my car before her people looked at it. Now, I knew full well that my car wasn't in great condition and that I was basically looking to trade it in to be used for spare parts. While it had been hit in the rear, the front of the car/engine was still in very good condition and, for it's age, the car had very low millage. Ivy offered very little information about the CR-V while on the test drive. When we returned to the dealership to "crunch numbers" she came back with a very low number for my trade in and then proceeded to claim she was applying all of these discounts to the price of the CR-V for us but never explained what they were, probably because they were of such little value. The price she quoted us was basically the sticker price for the car and then she said she would have to haggle with the finance guys to make that happen for us. When I asked her if we could discuss the trade in price for my car (again, I was told one amount by the insurance company so I had a ball park of what to expect), she interrupted me and quite rudely said "That car is junk, it's junk... it's going right to auction". Altogether, buy the time our conversation was over I must have heard seven times in as many ways that my car was trash. All this from a woman who thought it professional to play with her hair the whole time we were sitting at her desk. Again, I knew full well that my car was not going to be entering any car shows, but it was humiliating to be spoken to like that from someone who was trying to sell me a $30,000 car. There are ways to speak to people, and this was not how a professional should have been speaking to potential buyers. My husband and I left the dealership appalled by her behavior. We went to Mazda the next day, were treated quite professionally there and purchased the CX-5. Honda does have a good reputation, but I would not recommend Huntington Honda, specifically Ivy Feinsilver, to anyone. If you want to buy a Honda, buy it from somewhere else! More

We bought our daughters 1st car at this dealership and we were so impressed with Steve Berkowitz. He is not pushy and tells things as they are funny. I would highly recommend this dealership. Although when we bought the used car it had some technical issues, the dealership worked quickly and without hesitation to rectify the problem. The car was not under warranty but they still fixed everything. Everyone was extremely apologetic, friendly, and professional. I have bought from other Honda dealerships in the past and never had such a good experience. We will definitely buy from this dealership again when we need a car in the future. More

I was looking to buy a car and had a difficult credit background to work with. Initially, with my first conversation with Joseph, he put me completely at ease and made me not feel embarrassed about my s background to work with. He actually drove me over to meet Georgia, who he explained was a great finance advisor and could figure out a way to get even the most involved credit sitiations financing. He certainly proved correct, as Georgia also made me feel comfortable and at ease, and instantlly started working on getting me what I was looking for . Well, mere days later, thanks to Georgias persistance and business savvy in dealing with the finance company, I had my beautiful new honda in my driveway !! Joseph rounded off the experience with going the extra mile in taking time to show me all the features on the car, how to work all the extras, talked to my insurance company and even put on my plates. What I thought was going to be a nightmare turned into a fabulous dream thanks to two wonderful people, Georgia and Joseph ( Joe ) . More
