Aldo dealt very professional and with great honesty and i finalized on a deal. During the whole process, never did I feel that I’m being pushed into something that I didn’t really want. What really impressed me was that a day after I got my new vehicle, I realized that I’d left something in my trade in vehicle. I called Aldo and he told me that he’ll make sure that I’ll get it asap. within a few days I received my package and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. If you ever go into Huntington Honda, make sure to ask for Aldo who’ll make your visit an enjoyable experience. More
I went in with my son to replace a 2005 Honda Civic that we originally bought at Huntington Honda. Since then I bought a Civic for my wife and myself there. We took a test drive and sat down to talk price and financing. I watched the price go down from the MSRP as we talked with the pleasant sales associate whose name I will not mention. He was very helpful. We finally got down to a price that was still too high but I would at least consider. The salesman took my credit card as a sign that I was serious about a purchase and went to his manager. The salesman came back from his manager with a price that was almost $1000 higher than the "hoped for" price and no credit card. I immediately demanded my credit card back and was ready to leave. The manager came over and said that the price written in large bold print was "not really the final price". Without asking what that meant, I took my credit card back and left. Anyhow, I was dreading their final process where you play the "down payment/financing game". That isn't even discussed until you agree on a price. The Honda "Deal Days" advertisement on TV specified 1.9% or .9% financing was available to select customers, but I had two previous experiences in the business office with the dealer. The first was a dream and I got financing at a good rate direct from Honda. The second time I was shoved into financing from a bank at a terrible rate with an extended warranty added on to insure that I financed more than $10,000 which was their "lowest limit". I had never heard of such nonsense but since the warranty premium was refundable (if the warranty was not used) and I needed the car immediately, I relented. I found out later that one of the credit agencies that they contacted had not given me a rating because of "limited credit history". If they had contacted a third agency, it would have confirmed the top tier rating of the first. I paid off that 36 month loan within a year. In all, my opinion of the dealership has gone from best to worst as the years have gone by. Their rush to become a top volume dealership has done them in. As a post script, I bought a similarly equipped Hyundai Elantra a day later at a substantially lower price with a top tier financing rate (directly from Hyundai financial) at a dealer whose "shenanigans" caused me to walk out when trying to purchase the original 2005 Honda Civic. Go figure. More

Billy Mouzakitis is a great sales consultant. He is knowledgeable about his products and he lets the product sell itself. The entire dealership treats buyers with dignity. There are no high pressure knowledgeable about his products and he lets the product sell itself. The entire dealership treats buyers with dignity. There are no high pressure sales tactics used. They make their sales by aggressive pricing and great service. I would highly recommend this dealership and would especially recommend seeing Billy Mouzakitis. More
I recently leased my very first car, and that was 2 months after my wedding. Needless to say I was on a tight budget, and had no clue about how leasing works. The people at Huntington Honda, specifi months after my wedding. Needless to say I was on a tight budget, and had no clue about how leasing works. The people at Huntington Honda, specifically AK and Irfan were a great help. They went above and beyond what was needed of them to help me learn more about the entire process and all the costs that were involved. When I finally made my decision, they were so helpful in helping me get the best possible deal and rate for my new car. I couldn't be happier with Huntington Honda, and would recommend them to anyone. More
Called this dealer to inquire about prices on the 2012 Civic. We got a girl named Julia on the phone who said its not Hondas policy to do so. My girlfriend and I told her that we had gotten quotes over th Civic. We got a girl named Julia on the phone who said its not Hondas policy to do so. My girlfriend and I told her that we had gotten quotes over the phone from two other dealers. Still she said it wasnt Hondas policy. Well since it is the closest dealer to my home I went in with the two quotes I got over the phone. The salesman stated he would match the price but, would not charge me any hidden fees. I said ok went home did the numbers myself and his were exactly the same as one of the dealers I spoke with on the phone. ON THE PHONE FROM MY HOUSE NO TRAVELING AND VERY COMFORATABLE. I suggest you call another dealer out in Smithtown maybe. He gave me an awseome price no games and in the long run better than anyone else! More

I owned a 1999 Saturn SL2 with 62K miles it was time for something new, since Saturn does not exist anymore in the GM product line and to get parts or have service done was getting extremely hard. I went o something new, since Saturn does not exist anymore in the GM product line and to get parts or have service done was getting extremely hard. I went on the internet and requested a quote. Amy the internet sales representative emailed me with in less than 24 hrs., that she would be in touch with me to find out the exact model I was interested. We started process with my interest being in the Accord LX-P, well as of last Friday I got wxcellent pricing with the accessories I wanted on both the LX-P and the SE( rare to come by more demand less supply). We started the ball in motion when I emailed her Monday that I was coming in to sign papers for a car. I met both Mark Plankin and another Mark (new sales representative) who took me through the paperwork of ordering the car. The Honda Accord SE they had in stock was Black with Ivory interior such class. I signed and was told the car would be ready for delivery on Thursday, August 4. I went to the dealership today to pick up the car and it was all ready in the parking lot. I was given an overview of the mechanics of operating the car, then brought to the service department and given a general schedule of maintenace of the car evern though there is a manual on this that comes with the car. The service staff who logs you in for the servie was friendly and greets everyone who comes through the door with a smile. We went back into the sales floor finished up with the final paperwork. Amy came out to wish me good luck and Mark Plankin walked me out the the car and wished me good luck and said if I need anything to just call him or the other Mark and they would work with me. I believe having worked around sales amd marketing for over 36 years, the staff at Huntington Honda dressing in a very professional corporate business manner made you feel ou were going to be working with a best-in-class organization. I did not rate them a perfect 5 as there is always room for improvement and in sales you never want to slack off by receivng the 5, as the GM always wants there staff to believe everyday they need to meet that goal. I am very happy with the way I went about purchasing the car as it took the stress of having to go through negotiations at the dealership. Just come in sign the papers find out delivery date, come that day do closeout paperwork and your on your way in your new car. I will be recommending to anyone I know this is how they should go about buying a car and to get in touch with Amy who starts putting the wheels in motion and relieving the emotional stress. Car purchasing is the second big investment next to purchasing a home. Thanks again. Elizabeth H. More
I had heard about Huntington Honda from a co-worker that just got an 2011 Accord for his daughter and I thought I would give them a shot. Called and spoke to Mr. Marc Platkin and we discussed what I was loo just got an 2011 Accord for his daughter and I thought I would give them a shot. Called and spoke to Mr. Marc Platkin and we discussed what I was looking for and what Marc could do for me. I actually gave Marc about five (5) different scenarios to work up for me and he got back to me within 15 minutes. After I actually decided what I wanted - a 2011 CRV-EXL, Marc worked out the various scenarios I had proposed regarding downpayments and my 1995 Honda Accord Trade-in. Everything went very smooth and we concluded the deal withing 30 minutes. After we concluded our business, I was asked to speak to the Business Manager - a Mr. Shaikh. His job was to check my credit rating and sell me accessories, etc. Didn't really care for his pushy attitude. I knew what I wanted to be added to my CRV - but he kept pushing-pushing and really turned me off. I layed out what I wanted and he was totally inflexible regaring the prices - give that I was looking at $2,220 in accessories (remote start, roof rack, splash guards, cargo tray, floor mats, window etching, etc, etc.,) Mr. Shaikh - didn't give me much of a break. I was completely turned off by his - "...you can afford that, another $20 a month won't break you, your foolish to pass this up, you really need this too, etc". I finished my business with Mr Shaikh and signed my paper work and left. The day a was to pick up my car - I called Huntington Honda again and wanted to add the bodyside molding to my CRV. Mr. Shaikh was not in yet, so I spoke to a "Mohammad" and he was quite friendly and very helpful. He gave me a good price and I asked him to followup to ensure this extra added to my package. He promised me that he would and he did - it was on my CRV when I picked it up. I went to Huntington Honda as per Marc's provised time 3:00 PM pickup time and after some paperwork and payments I needed to make - Marc brought my CRV around for me to see. Marc spent about 30 minutes explaining all the things I needed to know and got me on my way home - very satisfied with my new 2011 Honda CRV-EXL. Overall I am very satisfied with Huntington Honda - thanks to Marc Platkin and I would recommend Huntington Honda to both my friends and family in the future. EJMyers, More
Huntington Honda was recommended to me by a family member who just the week before had a good experience purchasing a new vehicle. My experience thus far with the used car department hasn't been as great. who just the week before had a good experience purchasing a new vehicle. My experience thus far with the used car department hasn't been as great. I ended up agreeing to purchase a used 2008 Honda Ridgeline, not in perfect shape but very clean. First problem - headrests missing from the vehicle. I would have to come back once they were located or ordered. They found them in a couple of days. Second problem - drove the 1.5 hours to pick-up the vehicle. No front license plate bracket. It has been over two weeks with my plate in my window. Just got the call today that is has arrived and is ready to be installed. Third problem - and most concerning- Honda Certified Pre-owned Checklist - I was just going through the checklist and I noticed that they had checked off items as"Meets Honda Standards" when it clearly it did not. Simple things like Owner's Manual in glove compartment (none), to floor mats (has none), to windshield (large 14" scratch) The issue isn't so much the missing Owner's Manual but the loss of confidence in the reliability of their own Inspection Checklist. I'm heading back on Thursday to have them go over my concerns. If my concerns aren't satisfied I plan on having their entire Honda Certified Used Car Inspection Checklist done by another to see what other items were overlooked. I understand that the goal is to get the vehicle off the lot but maintaining confidence in their product is what keeps folks coming through those doors. John More
