I give an excellent rating to Huntington Honda because I was impressed when I walked into the dealership by the neatness, professionalism and cordiality of the business. She intoduced me to Marc Platkin who was able to inform me about the car I wanted and ealily took me through the process of negotiation. He understood what I wanted and explained the features of the car and what I needed to do to purchase it. He was always a gentleman and took care of all my concerns with amazing speed and competence. Mike the finance manager was also competent and helpful. I had visited many dealerships in the several days before I came to Huntington Honda. I did not actually intend to buy the car the day I came in, but I could tell I was in good hands and decided to go forward with the purchase. Huntington Honda gave me a feeling of feeling of honesty and cooperation. I also noticed how other salespersons treated clients and was impressed. To start I want to express my sincere disappointment in the professionalism of their sales force. I went in to see if there were any good deals. I told the salesperson that I had to leave by 5pm, however I the professionalism of their sales force. I went in to see if there were any good deals. I told the salesperson that I had to leave by 5pm, however I don't think it made a xxxx of a difference to him. On top of which I found his attitude to be dismissive and disrespectful. They seem to use sleazy tactics to keep you in the show room as long as possible. With me it was by holding my car key after they looked at my car for a trade in value. I had to ask more than 4 times for my key back. The answer I got was that " my manager has it". After the last time I demanded my key back and followed him only to find out that it was lying on a desk unattended. I do not wish to give the name of the employee because I feel that it was not specifically his fault. I believe that it is the culture of Huntington Honda to use stall and delay tactics while they try to whittle you down. To conclude I found them to be a typical sleazebag dealership where they use unethical tactics to sell sell sell. By the way their pricing was far from good, and I do believe they tried offer me a sucker deal. I will NEVER buy a car from them, neither will I recommend them to anybody but my worst enemy. More
