Excellent experience! I came here looking for a 2023 Civic Type R. Shammi Gillani had taken my number down from a previous conversation and called me as soon as one arri I came here looking for a 2023 Civic Type R. Shammi Gillani had taken my number down from a previous conversation and called me as soon as one arrived. I stopped in to see the car and immediately fell in love. Shammi worked with me and was extremely patient the entire time. When it came time to make the decision, I knew I was in good hands with him. Really great guy with amazing people skills. A true natural people person. I told him when I walked in that I was pressed for time, and had a party to attend in a few hours. Long story short, once Shammi knew I was serious about the car, I was in and out in two hours, Car and All! In my experience, that is unheard of. I even spoke to a few other sales people while I was there and everyone was super friendly. Jose in the finance department was very helpful and great to work with once it came time to discuss the loan details. It was clear that these guys care about their customers. The entire experience was very pleasant. Honda cars sell themselves, so it really comes down to working with a reputable dealer - something that is getting harder to find, unfortunately. I will say, I stopped into another Long Island dealer that same morning (total coincidence). I wont give any names or locations out of respect for others, but the experience was day and night. They treated me like I was a moron (One guy was pretty nice, the other not so much, But both gave me the vibe like I was not appreciated). I felt like I was overstaying my welcome, and I surely wasnt getting any deals there, so I left. Shammi happened to call me as I was leaving that dealer, seriously it was meant to be! The rest was history... I did about 11 months of research before getting this car. Most people will not do that. Do yourself a favor, if you're interested in a quality vehicle like a Honda, take a ride to see Shammi at Huntington Honda. You will not regret it. More
