Went in for an electrical issue and they told me that I needed a brand new alternator. The story did not add up because my car was checked by another dealer who said my alternator was fine And was per needed a brand new alternator. The battery connections needed to be cleaned hence the issue arose. The car is in perfect condition and performing well. Obviously Huntington Honda charges client for issues that does not exist. This is extremely deceptive. More
I am very displeased with the service at Huntington Honda. I purchased my 2022 Honda Pilot, new, in August 2022. It has been back to the service department 3x for an Emission System problem. The latest problem is they want me to pay more than $800 to fix the Emission System. There is (according to them) water in the emission canister, which could be due to the fact that I drove the car through a puddle!!! So, I guess it's safe to say I cannot drive my car if it rains!!! My car is not abused and it is in the garaged. I am retired and at 6,000 miles, that is much less than average for 10 months. Seriously, the warranty will not cover the replacement because it was an "Act of God"?? I do not drive through puddles!!! Even so, this reasoning is faulty, since they are saying you better not drive your Honda Pilot if it's raining because I will have to pay more than $800 every time to have it fixed. This is not acceptable! I have already paid $180 for the part to be ordered, but I am upset that I will be charged an additional $600 + in order to fix my car. Since driving through a puddle could cause this damage, I believe it is a design flaw of the 2022 Pilot and should be covered under the warranty. More
After bringing my HONDA to Huntington HONDA since I bought it there brand new, I found out my vehicle was being tampered with in order for the service department to get more money! I had a misfortunate as some rodent got into my engine bay and chewed up the wires. I brought my car to the dealer as the dash lights came on the day I noticed a problem. The Dealership took the car in for a diagnostic, and I was told I was out of warranty. Quickly about 10 min later, a lady showed up to buy my broken car and put me into a brand new Honda. I just finished paying off my car. I have declined this offer and went ahead with the repair. After about 2.5 hours, the service department told me they saw the rodent damage, and everything was fixed, and they placed a rodent tape to prevent further damage from rodents. I paid 928 dollars plus tax and left the dealer. They said they repaired the wires and cleared the engine codes. I am an older guy, so I drove my car home. I did not put my car in reverse. I just noticed that the backup camera was working. I thought it was, but after thinking about it, I drove the car straight home and put it back into the garage. The following day I got into my car and put it into reverse. I noticed the backup camera did not work. I took the car back to the dealer, and after about 30 min or so, they told me the car needed to stay there. Rodents did more damage. They told me more rodents entered the engine bay and damaged the entire engine wire harness. That sounded very strange because they guaranteed me that the rodent tape they placed on the engine harness would protect me against the rodent. At this point, the damage and repair were so high that I engaged my insurance. I opened a claim, and the adjuster went onsite to see the damages and approved the repairs. I also claimed the first repair for 928 dollars. The insurance company paid me a lump sum for all the repairs and damages. Yesterday March 8th, I went to pick up my car. The rude service advisor Jackie told me I had to pay them 5,230.74, including the first repair done by this dealership. I had the document sent to me by the insurance company. A few people reviewed it, and they all kept saying yes, I owe them the entire amount paid by my insurance. My son got involved, and he also explained to them to look at line number 10, which says "S01 Subl PRIOR RELATED REPAIRS,SEE INVOICE IN NEX GEN 1 855.00 T 0.0 0.0 NOTE: DAYS PRIOR AND 135 MILES LESS" They did not want to hear it and insisting if I didn't pay 5,230.74 they would not release the car. After making me wait for 2.5 hours at the dealer, Jacky, the rude lady, came over and said, " Okay, we will take 4,802.00, and they will release my car. This dealership is all about money. They don't care for customers, and none of the staff apologized to me for the mix up they had. Mix-up. They want to sell you cars and make a profit. I am done with this dealership. Since I do not have a factory warranty, I will service my car at a different dealership or locally specialized Honda mechanic. I will contact Honda customer care and share my experience with them. I hope they fix my car now, as I have no faith in their work and customer care. This is money driven dealership, not a dealer who truly cares for the Honda brand and its customers. More

Had excellent service from Jackie Murillo, Service Advisor. She has a lot of knowledge about cars and kept me informed of the status of my vehicle throughout the time I was there.
