STEER CLEAR of Hutchinson Cadillac unless you're a glutton for punishment. I placed an order for a Cadillac with Hutchinson months ago, then cancelled it after the customer experience was so terribly poor. I am STILL WAITING MONTHS later after cancelling that new vehicle order with Hutchinson Auto Mall in Macon to receive the refund of deposit. After both Kerde Evans, the Sales Manager and Steve Winters, the General Manager both told me in multiple separate communications weeks apart that my order was cancelled and I would be refunded I was forced to contact GM corporate, filing complaint and creating a case and I still don't have a refund from Hutchinson. I then provided documentation showing I had cancelled the order in communications with the Sales Manager, Kerde Evans and the GM Steve Winters was supposed to ensure it was cancelled - or so he told me he would. Months went by and the order still wasn't cancelled by anyone at Hutchinson. I then contacted GM corporate and they told me I had to cancel through the dealership and they couldn't do anything to cancel the order even though I had tried multiple times through multiple parties at Hutchinson to cancel and was told by each person at Hutchinson that the order was cancelled each time - though it wasn't. When I posted a review about my true, actual experience at Hutchinson, I was then contacted by the Sales Manager, Kerde Evans, whom attempted to manipulate me to remove the review when reviews are supposed to be posted by customers of their real, actual experiences so that other potential customers can be aware of the dealerships customer service and their experiences in working with the dealership. This communication from the Sales Manager, Kerde Evans, is a clear attempt to manipulate me and shows that the dealership could care less about providing good customer service or attempting to correct the customer service experience with the customer writing the review. The professional, appropriate response to a poor customer review would have been to ask the customer for detail, insight as to their experience, receive and understand the feedback and then implement changes to improve customer experiences going forward even if that potential sale with that particular customer is entirely gone, off the table so to speak. None of that occurred through multiple communications with the General Manager, Steve Winters, or the Sales Manager, Kerde Evans. Instead, they lied directly to my face with a smile on theirs, attempted to manipulate me and showed their true character. In the end, having to involve GM corporate and go through multiple levels of management at GM Corporate to get Hutchinson to cancel the order and refund me shows that Hutchinson could care less about honoring their customer requests and doing right by them. It took months of communications with the dealership and GM corporate to achieve what should be a simple task for the dealership. I purchase multiple cars annually for both business and personal use and will NEVER set foot in any dealership with the name Hutchinson on the sign and if either Steve Winters or Kerde Evans work there I'll walk right out the door. There are other dealerships, especially GM brand related, that provide exceptional service so please, if you're a potential customer, steer clear of this dealership and go to another so you can avoid the headaches and hassles that I have had to endure which is my goal in posting this review - to educate and inform others so they don't have to go through months of this nightmare I've had to endure.
