Martin was great with getting my service sorted on my Ford Fusion. I had a bad horn and he worked with my insurance and kept me in the loop on the status of the repair. I will definitely come back for Ford Fusion. I had a bad horn and he worked with my insurance and kept me in the loop on the status of the repair. I will definitely come back for my next service! I had my 2022 GV70 scheduled for service on, May 31, 2023 at Genesis of Kirkland Washington using the valet service pickup. I made this appointment several weeks prior in order to accommodate the valet servi at Genesis of Kirkland Washington using the valet service pickup. I made this appointment several weeks prior in order to accommodate the valet service availability, and I confirmed the appointment the week before, including the valet pickup location with the service department. I received a call the day before (May 30, 2023) from the valet service driver, informing me that the pick up location was outside of the designated service area. I called and spoke to the service manager, Mr. David Calloway. He proceeded to tell me that the pick up location was outside the service area of 50 miles, while in fact, it was 50.6 miles away. I told him that his dealership provided valet service on the other Genesis that I still own, which he confirmed. I offered to meet at a location, somewhat closer, which he finally agreed to, but not after complaining about the distance, the time away from the dealership and the disruption to their schedule. It is very frustrating to have the service manager complaining about a service that Genesis offers as part of the package of purchasing a Genesis. I love both of my Genesis’, but Genesis service overall is horrible. Over the last year or so, Genesis has closed a number of dealerships, including a closer Genesis dealership to where I live. The current service I requested was not completed (for a second time) and the last service that I had was not fully completed, and I was lied to about what was done. Again, all very frustrating. While I really want to recommend the car brand to others, I am very reluctant to do so given the poor ability to offer what is being sold as part of the luxury experience. Genesis has quite a ways to go be being a true luxury brand, starting with their customer service. I currently own two Genesis, but these will probably be my last. More

I had some front-end damage on my Hyundai Sonata when I pulled back off a parking curb, and Chris walked me through the steps to address that, and a 60k scheduled maintenance, professionally and promptly. pulled back off a parking curb, and Chris walked me through the steps to address that, and a 60k scheduled maintenance, professionally and promptly. The work wasn't cheap, but it was done right, and that's what's important. I will return to Kirkland Hyundai/Ford. More
Sold a $50K brick that is sitting in my driveway. Three warning lights pop up on my dash immediately. I'm mechanically inclined and do major repairs on my older cars, but this is an electrical/relay issue that I can't fix. Hyundai of Kirkland told me "you can get it towed here but we can't get to it for 6-8 weeks to make the repair." and "we don't have any loaners so you will be without your car." I am stuck with monthly car payments without a car. Hyundai of Kirkland won't do anything about it - "that is just how it is right now as we are selling so many cars. We are a small independent dealer that we can't do anything about it. You'll need to pay for a rental if you need a car. We can't get your car fixed any sooner." Apparently, they are okay with selling cars and don't care once the sale is made. Hyundai of USA won't do anything either saying it's a dealership issue, not theirs. Want regular service done to keep your car under warranty? Make sure you call 2-3 months in advance and you MIGHT get an appointment. Wait longer and risk voiding your warranty by not getting the regular service done. We have a service appointment that we scheduled 2 months ago next Monday. Apparently, they can only do the maintenance service then (pretty much an oil change) but will put our issues into the queue and get to it 6-8 weeks later. Other dealers won't service our car since we "didn't purchase it at their location" - that is insane Hyundai USA! I'll never purchase another Hyundai again - and definitely will not be recommending their cars or this location. After the sale, they just don't care anymore. More
